Too bad, but not unexpected. Allison has great speed....I just hope we don't end up regretting this move if Harvin ends up suspended because he can't stay out of trouble. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chicago end up with him.

I know this kind of sucks because I do like Aundrae Allison. But Allison has been rather quiet this offseason compared to Jaymar Johnson. I do think Bobby Wade is another one on the chopping block, but he either will be traded or released as well but at the end of training camp. I will be surprised if Wade is still on the roster come September 13th. Like Allison said, the Vikings are giving him a chance because it is still early in training camp to find a team.

Not sure I understand the reasoning behind publicly announcing that Allison would be released if not traded. Why would anyone trade for him if that's the case?

Hate to see this happen, but just like with Sidney Rice, the coaches didn't take advantage of Allison's strengths, and I don't understand why he wasn't returning kicks more often. I really think Allison is a better receiver than he's been given an opportunity to show.

Wade's status may depend on who wins the QB job; Wade is TJacks favorite receiver.

the announcement that Allison "will be released at the end of the day", if no trade offers, sums up perfectly Chilly's skills of lackluster team management. Fired at the end of the season, 1st round playoff exit.....and Chilly and TJack ride of into the sunset together. Chilly and TJack would have never made it this long in an organization like Dallas or New York.

Allison is an excellent receiver. Whoever he ends up with will have a talented and explosive guy. I will be cheering for him.

I have been a Childress defender through the good, the bad, and the ugly. But this one is on the list of stuff he has done that I do not feel are in the team's best interest.

tough break aundre, i hope you can find a spot on another team. i always liked his play but it seemed like he was the odd man out his entire time here and now that we have percy and jaymer is playing so well it seemed like a matter of time.
