This would be a bad trade. I like Namdi...if anything I would rather see the Raiders pick up a mirror of Namdi....so we can shut down the pass.

As painfull as it is, its a QB driven league, a shutdown corner wont win you the superbowl, no matter how good he is.

But I also don't think McNabb is the answer. In his prime he couldn't get an SB...he got too tired in the SB...do you remmebr that? it was nuts. He is a step up from what we have and I think would get us to play offs...but not sure how much more past the first round he could get.

i read asante samuels and mcnabb for nnamdi asomuagha. no draft picks! there's also other teams surfacing that mcnabb would be more intrested in going to. the vikings, that is if favre does not come back. but if i was the vikings, i would take mcnabb over favre. it's more of a for sure thing that mcnabb would last and help the vikings as well as favre. the other is arizona they need mcnabb. mcnabb wants to go to a team that has a winning record and these two would suit him just fine. the other two are buffalo and oakland. buffalo needs him more than oakland and oakland could use a boost at (qb). but straight out for nnamdi? NO!

Raiders should make this trade it will go a long way in proving Al can't even manage a Taco stand let alone the Raiders. EIGHT STRAIGHT losing SEASONS coming right up. I can already hear Raider fans gnashing their teeth.

The Eagles are far more motivated to move McNabb now and get something then wait and get nothing next year. In other words, the Raiders (or any team) will not have to trade anything above a third round pick. As far as Nnamdi, his contract is prohibitive next year and not something the Eagles would like to inherit.

I tend to agree. Who knows? Perhaps Nnamdi will renegotiate his contract to stay with McNabb.

Mcnabb is no more of an answer than Jeff Garcia was. He by far is not worth giving up Nnamdi for even if we get Asante Samuel too...However, as far as a QB upgrade goes, Cleo Lemons would be an upgrade over JBust. No QB out there is worth trading Nnamdi for.
