Topix can post all they want about the Convick. I have a different opinion about that dog fighter and it isn't a good one!

Vick is comeback player of the year , second in mvp voting, NFC starter in the pro bowl , got the Eagles in the playoffs in what was supposed to be a building year .

Amy sits at home, alone in her trailer , eating alpo , and there`s lots of it because the county took away all her dogs, and charged her with animal cruelty ,because of the way she was making them live .
Priceless .

There really isn't another player that should even come close. What Vick had to overcome is amazing. He always had the athletic talent but lacked the work ethic to be great. Sprinkle on overcoming a lot of unfounded hate from the lunatic fringe of American society and this may be the comeback story of the decade.

Ironically he'll have continue to fight against younger/faster players, who'll do everything they (legally) can to hurt him. An athletes prime years are exceedingly valuable and he squandered his prime years in jail. A smart, fine example for (y)our youth...

Ironically he's spend his prime years in jail because he behaved badly. Now he's facing younger, faster players, and he wore out, at the end of the game. Now how knows how it feels to lose the top dog spot.
If you kids copied his life would you be proud or sad ? His deeds will ALWAYS define him. Anyone else, he'd still be in jail. Sorry folks, but if your idols have problems, you have work to do...

They'll be even more mad next season when he comes back and is even better. LOL, their hate only fuels him apparently, so let them keep on hating!

"They'll be even more mad next season when he comes back and is even..."older ? Dude, he ran out of steam. That pass had NO chance. Go ahead and fool yourself, but in less than 5 years he'll just be another gimpy, old, ex-athlete.

In YOUR world he won't be older ? Really ? Talk about BLIND hero worship. Did you see how exhausted/wiped Vick was in the 4th quarter ? Dude, watch the game ! Aaron Rodgers has a better chance for a ring. BTW The average NFL QB has 4 good years before they've passed their peak and you DO realize Vick has played in the NFL since drafted in 2001 ? Oh, YOU'RE interested in opinions. DO NOT BET !

"Vick said he thought if he "did the right things," he could play 10-12 more years. But the quarterback is already 28 _ the average age for an NFL quarterback _ and has exceeded the league's 3.2-year career average. As a running quarterback, he also takes more physical punishment and is more susceptible to injury than most." Hmmm-- maybe that 5 years is an optimistic prophesy. Go watch the 4th quarter and see the pain in his face....
