Greg Lewis, a journeyman NFL receiver, is happy to just play the game and be able to contribute when put in the game. It's great to see a humble player who was un-drafted 7 years ago step up at the highest level possible and catch a bullet with a few seconds left on the clock to win a big game. His family situation is touching as they are still in transition and in boxes as they are new to the twin cities - and is dealing with a young child who is ill. It's awesome to be able to read about Lewis when you have in comparison, overpaid rookie players - such as Crabtree who have their priorities all mixed up. Football is not all about money - it's a about teamwork and the unselfish play of people like Lewis who in the end will make the difference from a good team to a great team. In due or die, end of game situations, you need guys like Lewis who can execute like a PRO!

What can you say? What CAN be said? The Vikes did not look like a 3 & 0 team by the way they let the 49ers back in the game. It should have been a Viking mercy killing!! Penalties...Penalties...Penalt ies!!! Blocked field goal ??? Get real! Don't count on Favre to pull off miracle plays in 2 minute drives the rest of the way, folks. Better strap it on, even for the "chinese fire drill" Packers. PLEASE DON'T GIVE THIS NEXT GAME AWAY LIKE YOU GUYS TRIED TO DO WITH THE 49ers WHEN YOU HAD THEM ON THE ROPES FROM THE GET GO!!! See what I'm sayin'? I'll leave the light on for ya'!

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aries

Don't get embroiled in a bad-tempered skirmish today, for it might turn into more than that if you aren't careful. Everyone seems to be ratty and argumentative, but once you let the first spat take place it's effectively declaring open season. Even though things seem out-of-joint, keep your lines of communication open.
