Cowher: Don't Blame Anyone Except Me

Bill Cowher isn't blaming Ben Roethlisberger's frequent interceptions for the Pittsburgh Steelers' terrible record.

Now the Steelers know what happens the following year after you win the big game. Maybe they were not a super team at all.

It doesn't matter if they never win another game, the '05 Steelers were a "super team". They did things that not a single other team has ever done. It doesn't matter what anybody says to try to put them down this season--it will never change what they accomplished last year.

They were the first team to ever be the sixth seed to win a Super Bowl, and they had more road wins on the way than any other team.

The 05 Steelers only won 4 road games to win the SuperBowl. I'd say that speaks for itself. true patriot must have missed that one. Tears can blind a man sometimes.

And playoff games are always against the best competitors, and played under the most pressure, and road games make a tough situation even tougher. So true patriot (and anyone and everyone else) may try to put them down, and this year it's probably deserved (as I believe in being honest even if it's about my own team). But when someone tries to say they weren't "true champions" in '05, I respectfully ask that they review facts rather make statements based so obviously on hatred and/or jealousy.
