I'm very happy for the university and the fans that the Vols won this game in a decisive manner. I'm also happy for Fulmer that he hushed his critics (for at least a week).
But I'm not reserving a room in Atlanta yet. There is a lot of football to be played...oh so much football. The best team in the SEC East may just be South Carolina...hey, I never count a Spurrier coached team out. Arkansas has the best back in the country and they spanked us last year. Kentucky is playing very well and who knows what Saban and co. might accomplish at Bama this year.
Coach Fulmer is a very good and at times brilliant coach. He deserves to be treated with respect for his accomplishments and what he's done for UT over the years. Only last year I was completely pulling for Fulmer to turn it around. Well, in the back of my mind I'd still like to see the Vols run the table and appear in a BCS game and give CPF a boost. On the other side I'm afraid that no matter what happens this year, its only a temporary thing and we'll be right back to disappointment next year.
Anyway, eyes are still on Fulmer here from Baton Rouge.
