Ragtag 'D' might not hold Ravens together

Full story: Baltimore Sun 24
The bad news is well, did you watch the game Saturday night? Or the one the week before? The games against, respectively, the St.Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings showed how indispensable those Ravens defenders ... Full Story

<quoted text>no you can't, but perception is everything in this league. Plenty of high paying jobs went to guys with huge credentials that had no business getting the jobs. Ryan was passed over after last season and he will be again if this year's D doesn't do well regardless if it's his fault or the front offices. Least I remind you of one of the biggets frauds in history with a great resume'- Sir Brian Billick. Rex deserves a shot that might get shot down by Ivey
Your right perception is everything in this league..... I think Mike Nolan is a prime example of that....a guy who may be a good motivator, very thorough and methodical but maybe not ingenious or innovative enough ....you need to be innovative, flexable, realistic and adaptive like Belichick... I like how Cameron had the vision to see Jones as a potential tightend ....not saying that its going to work but thats the kind of thinking it takes to win in this league.... especially if you may not be as talented as the top teams in the league.... what you lack in talent you can compensate for with recogniion and innovation if your not restrained by regiment, closed mindedness or the politics of the organization based on who got picked where and how much theyre being paid... which means nothing on the field.....its hard to win in the NFL but truth is most teams defeat themselves before they even take the field....Harbaugh seems aware/ realistic and adaptive to change for the better of the team....thats something they never had with Billick.

3 years of bad defense? What? Yes, last year we were not good but only after the secondary injuries. The defense has been stout and Rex has done a great job. No coordinator will look good with Walker and Ivy as starting CBs. Steele's article is surprisingly accurate for a change. This defense will be very good but only if the secondary starters stay on the field.
so if you don't have the corners , why keep playing the same defense and getting beat over and over . why not adjust ? Some times you have to just beat your man , 4 or 5 man rush and cover

That's almost as stupid as saying have you ever wrote an article before and if not you should not be allowed to make stupid comments about a sports writer when you clearly read everyone of his articles just to comment on them you stupid monkey.
