The Ravens could take some hints from the way the Eagles offense played against the Pats tonight. It should be obvious at this point that a team cannot win regularly grinding out 3-4 yards per play on the ground. Yes, a great running game is important, but most teams are using it to open up the passing attack. It's also about time that the Ravens stop claiming to play "Smash-mouth football". We haven't been "smashing" anyone. The offense is too predictable, and we no longer have the defense to rely on Stover's leg. I just wish Billick would let Boller air the ball out more than once or twice a game, and let the chips fall where they may.

This team is 4-7 and on the way to a 4-12 season.

Life is tough! And like theold saying goes:

Life is like a pen is!

When it is soft, you can't beat it.

When it is hard, you stand a good chance of geting screwed!

Mason is great, but he's a possession receiver. We need a wild card/deep threat receiver.

Our O line is the worst in the NFL. We could line up a group of 3rd graders and Kyle would have just has much time. It's not fair to pass judgment on Kyle with this O line. When he's given time he gets the throws where they need to go, as evidenced by his laser pass for our first TD.

We get zero pressure on opposing QBs. This was our weapon last year. Now Suggs and Scott don't come within a wingspan of the QBs. Scott needs to shut the f*ck up and start hitting the opposing QB.

I know it's blasphemy to criticize Ed Reed. But I think he's taken this season off. He should have picked up that first TD and he was 10 yards away. Where are his hard hits on opposing receivers? Better yet where are his interceptions? We've relied on defensive turnovers for points for far too long.

Has the commentators pointed out, the Eagles gave a blueprint for how to score on the Patriots tonight. Do you think BB and the O will capitalize on this? Neither do I.

I feel bad for McGahee. Even with this anemic offense he has proven himself worthy. He probably thought he was coming to Baltimore to join a contender, not a pretender. Hopefully, this doesn't sour his attitude towards the team and he can continue to contribute next year. It'd be nice if BB would utilize him in an effective manner.

On top of all this, we have guys missing half the regular season with hamstrings, ankles, knees and toes...there's something wrong w/ that picture. BTW, I don't know why I specified "regular" season...no post season in sight for the last 3 weeks.

Here's to hoping the drubbing coming our way on MNF against the Pats isn't worse than the one we took against the Squeelers.

I would trade Kyle Boller for a loaf of bread or package he and McNair for Kurt Warner and give the Arizona the choice of either as their backup next year. I would then start Warner after trading up to draft Matt Ryan who can watch and learn from a real pro QB for a year while holding a clip board. Then in the 2009 season he will be ready to go.
What makes you think Az would want either?? We had a chance at Warner years ago and blew that too. Awwww heck, he'd have come here and probably been crying on the sideline within 6 games and retired anyway. Baltimore, where QB's come to die.

And have they changed?
Yep
Leading the league in Penalties!
Most painful offense to watch...

Countdown to draft..the only thing they are doing well lately, winning the race for a higher draft position.

Kyle Kyle doesn't know he has that option!

The defense looked unusually bad today. Blame it on Boller? Manning would cry if he had to play behind that line and then he wouild throw them under the bus afterward. something Boller won't do.
