For not caring for the Boliers you are spending a great deal of time here...WHY??? Are you bored or just upset that the NFL CH will be televising the IU game which most of the country does not get??? It shows you where the networks rate the IU Loosers this year in Football!!!! No one cares so they will show it on NFL Ch....I love it!!!! LOL
GO BOILERS!!!!
LOL. It has nothing to do with "where the networks rate IU" you stupid idiot.

You think anyone actually gives a rat's ass about Purdue vs. Central Michigan in the mother of all Toilet Bowls? Please.

And FYI pretty much every sports bar in the country has NFL network and will be televising the game.
My family is in Fort Myers for a wedding and my dad already called a few sportsbars and every one of them said they will be televising the IU/OSU game.

Yawn, The Dirty City Bowl featuring football powerhouse Central Michigan? Is this where the Purdue Football program is? As a Buckeye fan in Indy, I here all the Purdue talk and I just laugh, but I've seen this a thousand times before. A decent program enters years of malaise and stale recruiting. It flounders around from meaningless bowl to meaningless bowl while recruits perpetually are concerned Tiller might get the axe. It caps progress and turns away players, boosters, fans while several other Big Ten teams pass by (Wisc, Penn State, Illinois). If you have your doubts now, put the pressure on. Perform or move on, if not, you'll be stuck in Detroit playing mid majors for the next few years while everyone else around you moves up.
Good call Buckeye Fan. And I think your right about recruits worrying about Tiller getting the axe. IU just scored the #1 RB in the state who had been considering Purdue.

Like I said last year....the tide will be turning in IU's favor. Looks like I'm right so far. IU beat Purdue, just like I predicted last year. IU made it to a better bowl game, just like I predicted last year. And now IU is snatching recruits away from Purdue...just like I've been saying all year long.

Next year will be more of the same.

While we're talking about "ifs", keep in mind that IU choked away games against PSU and Northwestern...and IF we would've been able to seal the deal in those two games we would be sitting at 9-3 right now. You were the one who started the "ifs".
Say what you want...IU proved they are better than Purdue. Enjoy your toilet bowl.
Oh, and real, real classy with the "Hep's dead" comment. What's it feel like to be such a scumbag?
yes, like u i ma big fan of collage football, dose iu have banners in football to? i know iu choked away a cupple games but they are really good as long as they better then the banner-less pu guys. if iu didnt go an loose 5 games, they be 12 and 0. speekin of toilet bowls, i gotta get back to work at walmart.

Good luck to the Boilers. I guess I am forced to watch this game because there is literally nothing else on. Should at least be high scoring. Funny the tone of this article tries to stir up anticipation of a great game. PU hammered them the first time. We will see if the gap between CMU and PU grew or shrank during the season and that should be a good indicator of which direction these two teams are heading and how fast they are headed there.
Hope all you PU fans had a very Merry Christmas even with PU basketball starting to look like more of the team we all thought they would be this season.
just you wait and by the way, we Purdue fans can do without your arrogance...

That's hilarious. One bowl game in how many years? Their second bucket victory in the last decade. One top ten recruit out of Indiana. Yep, Nostradamus is all over it. IU just went 3-5 in the conference in a year were they didnít even play OSU or Michigan, but they are on their way.

Thanks Tiler and crew! That was a wonderful game. CMU showed a LOT of heart, and I think their coach will do great things at West Virginia.
As for IU, they're in for a surprise. In the end, it'll be a releif to them their game was on the NFL channel (and nobody watching) when they get "poked" in the fanny!
Great ending to a disappointing season. Hope the Boilers can take the best from this season into next year. I know they're losing a lot of talent, but expectations will be more reasonable.

Congrats on the win, but Tiller is retiring and Burke is out on the road interviewing for his replacement. Go Hoosiers. Did anyone see who won the Bucket this year? Oh Yeah, I was there. I know you won it the past 60 out of 61 years, but I like to live in the present and if you keep going to the past, we will always bring up the championships and basketball. So do what you do and I look forward to the DUI stories we will read about after you celebrate the Motor City Bowl victory.
