Vikings hire James Saxon as RB coach

The Minnesota Vikings today announced the hiring of James Saxon as running backs coach.

I'm a Viking fan but give the guy a break. If anybody deserves blame its the o line. Just like ours deserves most of the blame for this year's debacle. Most of this monsters are athletic but we need a TOUGH Line coach that will tech them technique.

Will Saxon still do the Ho-Hum Peterson run line up what appears 10 years back from the QB handoff..try the handoff a bit closer to the line...I noted Pittsburg was doing the same thing against the Jets..It gave the impression it took the runner half an hour to get the ball..try that against the Green toads in the SB, and be prepared to take a jar of mud home instead of the Lumbar trophy..

Im scratching my head on this selection. Seems like the Dolphins werent too upset he was leaving.

I hope he gives Peterson the freedom to run as he wishes.Bienemy made Peterson a better catcher but I think he cramped his running style by slowing him up at the line.It was that quick burst that made Peterson so great the first couple years.I hope the offensive line improves cause thats really where it starts.
