Thanks so much, Queenies. You helped set us up for our run to the super bowl. Now most of you disenfranchised, know-nothing fans can get all excited about that Webb darling. Talk about grasping at straws to salvage whatever dignity you can muster. Good luck, losers! Give Ms. Leslie a big wet smooch from all of us here in TITLE TOWN, USA!

Did anyone see Kennedy and Guion chase after Vick last night? I'd run out of bounds, too. Fun game to watch.

The defense was the reason we won the game. They played fantastic! Actually all 3 facets played well. It was great to see this team finally put together a complete game...too bad it was so late in the season though.

You have to get by the Chicago Bears first....That will not likely happen...Even if you by some lucky chance made it to the Super Bowl, the New England Patriots and Tom Brady will turn you inside out....GO BEARS Sunday...TITLE TOWN? Nope, TRY CRYING TOWN...

Careful Big Boy you know how Shaaron always chokes in the big games. She'll probably wet her yellow and green panties when those big furry Bears start chasing her. Just don't get frustrated and start throwing things around in your trailer Loser.

<quoted text>Take a deep breath......first off yes you have been a big fan of him all season..........and I am with you, I hope he can be our QB of the future but let's be realistic. Only 1 game, Bevell designed a very simple spoon fed game plan for him, short passes, receivers rarely ran a route past 10 yds. in order to keep everything in front of him, and a good steady dose of AP.
I say definitely keep this guy on the roster......showed poise and ability but let's see if he is capable of realyy reading Defenses.
In the mean time good call on WEBB beer facts(lol), enjoy the win.........
Short passes? A 46 yard pass to Harvin to start the 2nd half is anything but short. The 27 yard pass to Rice in the endzone was anything but short! lol Remember in the giants game when T Jackson ran into AP and had to be replaced by Webb, it was 3rd and 20something. Webb came in and threw a 30something yard pass that should have been caught by Rice! It was dead on!

I too have been calling for them to start Webb at QB to see what he can do. Yes, last night was just one game and yes, Webb did make a couple rookie mistakes, but he made enough good plays to make up for any mistakes.

As for Bevell designing a very simple spoon fed game plan for him.....I think that simple spoon fed game plan worked to a "T"! The eagles couldn't figure it out so obviously it was a pretty good plan. Why does the game plan have to be complicated? Notice that the offensive line gave Webb some time to make plays too. Where has that been all season?

I do see growth in Webb from the little bit he played in the giants game, to last weeks bears game to last night! He certainly could take command of the offense!

The defense made Vick look old last night!

As for playing for daft picks, I hate teams that do that. You should play every game to win, no matter what! That's why the NBA has a draft lottery! They got tired of teams losing just to move up in the draft. Do you seriously want to see the NFL go to that system? I don't! Besides, one player doesn't give you a win!

Nice win last night! Now lets beat the Lions and stay out of the cellar~

There is a DOPE in every crowd and today its bakerquaker. What a moron!

The packers have to win first to have any chance of making the playoffs. The bears still have a shot at the no.1 seed. Packers luck is about to run out. Your 3 year (I haven't won anything) starting QB loves stats but can't win a meaningful game when it really matters. The giants game was a joke! Woodson holds on ever play! What a joke there too!

Remember, Lovie Smith said coming in as head coach of the bears that he has two responsibilities.....to get the bears to the playoffs and to beat the fudge packers! Title town? Another dope living in the past! ha ha Title town got moved to New England where it will stay this year! Packers won't see a title while Rodgers is the QB! He is like a rebound relationship! They never work out! lmao~

Physically, Vick is a shadow of what he used to be. Take a look at pictures of him before he went to prison and then after. Obviously he was juicing and now that he is subject to periodic drug testing while on probation he is unable to use them.

Just look what happened earlier in the season when he took a hit and missed I think 3 subsequent games. And last night, after being sacked about 4 times, the puny little thing was hobbling around again.

Just sayin'.........

Webb showed some pocket presence well beyond his years, and more than TJ ever did, and against a very good defense. We saw TJ in the last game against the Eagles and he looked atrocious, and I think the book is finally closed on his Vikings future.
Favre can no longer help this team, except for grooming his heir, so I don't agree with him taking over at QB. If the team is willing to put him in at starter, he should be willing to bench himself after the start and finally step aside.
Agree 100%. It was great seeing Webb live up to that potential that you just knew was there all along. He's a keeper. Jackson is a goner but I wish him well somewhere else. I think Favre means it this time, vice retirement. Maybe Cam Newton will still fall to us...maybe we'll trade for Linehart...maybe McNabb will come our way after all rather than go to the Cardinals. Hard to say at this point. Yet we know now we have a capable backup in Webb and maybe even a someday starter. Those doubters and puckers can gnash their teeth about this: that question is answered for us out of this otherwise disastrous season. Skol Vikings.

Jasper? WTF? Did you get rapped in the melon by 1 of those 18-wheelers that frequent your town to snatch up some of those bow-legged truck stop waitresses? The Pack will humiliate the Bears first then trample any other hopefuls unfortunate enough to impede our march to the Lombardi trophy. IF HE SAYS GO WIN ,,THEN SO BE IT AND YOU ALSO KNOW HOW CLUELESS HE IS!!! I'm sure if the owner wants wins,,the bears and giants were worth having and we couldnt compete,, your a clueless moron coach,,and winning always feels good but you have to look and say did we really win tonight!! come april you'll feel differently!!!
Eagles choked again....I can't blame you for being mad, but don't blame it on the Vikings blame it on your team that hurt itself for the playoff. LOL!!!!!....They will choke in the playoffs like they always do. ONE AND DONE!!!!!

Yes 9krammer is high...on himself..He states the Eagles didn't show up!! Well, the Vikings DID!! 9K, before you continue your vicious insane ramblings, look for your tiny brain in the garbage can where you lost it...The Vikings played to win...NOT for Draft picks! Joe Webb came through as I hoped he would...Now lets see what he can do at Detroit! Leave Favre on the bench..Detroit has really improved and will be no cake walk...Play Favre and he will most likely be carried off the field in a basket...Frazier you play Favre, and you lose what support the fans have...I have been yelling for Webb to start QB playing ever since he arrived.. Got shot down by all the Know-it-alls, who claims he was only good as a WR....I enjoyed the semi-trick plays Frazier sent in for Webb to use... Now Webb is the Vikings QB for the future, if only Frazier, Wilf, and the other "leaders" will wake up...The Vikings have to catch up and eventually pass the Packers and the Bears...Training Webb would be one helluva start!

Ah hell!- The Eagles did too "show up"!...Bet they wish they didn't. They just plain got beat. They had the same amount of time to prepare. They had home field advantage. And they're a play-off team. They just got beat. They didn't lose the game. They didn't beat themselves. They were out-played, out game-planned, out-coached. They were beat.- Yeah, Webb looked good. Just needs work on reading defenses & etc. He'll be fine. Like I'VE been saying: "Like a Culpepper with brains, only more ability".(Better hands too)Got to give credit to the rest of the team too. They actually showed up, and played up to their abilities.
