4 straight ugly losses as Klinks KAO becomes a joke. Then it will be 7 down and 9 to go before he mercifully will be fired and the organization hires a real coach who understands what the QB position means in the NFL.

I think the Vikes will be OK.

Outstanding defense, a good offense led by a premier RB.

Piece of cake...If the Vikes can beat the Jets and get on a roll... The Cow girls,Fudge Packers, and the Brady bunch won't be able to stop us. In fact the last three won't even make it to the playoff's and then the media will be crying that the Viking's had a soft schedule...None of these team's offense's are looking forward to playing our defense and none of these defense's are looking forward to facing our 230 lb purple sledge hammer "All Day"...This Team is the real deal . It's gonna be a fun October go Vikes and Twins...Feeling Minnesota!!!!!!!!!!

and here i'am in cheeseland north, and again i read in the local cheesepaper that the the city of green bay is remodeling their stadium again, adding another 8000 seats to their already refurbished stadium!, and i ask,"when do the people of minnesota show their pride in their team", and get a new stadium of their own? because up here just north of cheeseland, the joke is the people of minnesota wont do anything to even stop their own team from moving to l.a. so why do they even bother to rag on the packers?

so, lets step up minnesota and get this damn thing built for our team, and who the heck cares if a billionaire owns them, they've been our vikings before the wilf's or mccombs were even heard of in minnesota!

I know stats can be very misleading but what the hell I am finding some solace in these numbers:

Vikes are a stout 17-4 after the bye week with 4 straight wins.

Jets gave up a whopping 363 pass yds.- to MIAMI.

Never like it when you have to rely on the opposing team's star player being out to have a shot to win but Revis is questionable against the Vikes and the rookie Wilson has been getting scorched so far this season when he is in.

And I have been very misinformed when commenting on the Vikes strength of schedule in the past, I had thought I read it was ranked 15th toughest but it is ranked 5th according to this article, my apologies, I wish someone would have called me on it. I thought it sounded funny when I was typing it, oh well, never claimed to be able to split an atom like ex favre fan or jimisrite.

Whatever happens it will most likely be October that makes or breaks the season for the Vikes, I am thinking makes.

Just remember vikes started slow last year beat 2 scrub teams to get to 2-0,then the magic of 49ers game sparked confidence look for it again after a jet beatdown

Farve should be making up for missing training camp by working with his receivers during this short time off. Injuries should be healing. Lots of game film should be analyzed to correct miscues and misssed assignments. Jared Allen will figure out why he's been 1/2 a second away from getting to the QB. All's good.

Add that to what's already right, AP, run AND PASS defense, and the Vikings will be very competitive.

Go Vikings!

It is not like the Vikes have nothing going for them on either side of the ball right now:

D is playin' better than expected and is getting healthier-HUGE +.

Running game is excellent +.

AP is not fumbling +.

And let's be honest, the passing game does not have to improve dramatically, just has to become more efficient-ie-red zone TD's and less interceptions.

If the Vikes can stay within' striking distance of GB(not Chicago, their demise is forthcoming)until Rice gets back they are in good shape.

Plus the Vikes have their offensive guru Childress working on the passing game and trying to get it fixed so there should be no worries at all in the minds of us Vike fans(snicker/wink).

2 out 3 of the cogs in this machine are running smoothly, Vikes have a HOF QB working to get the last one operating efficiently, I trust he will.

I hope you all look at the rankings of the four teams the VIKES play these next 4 games The VIKES can beat all 4 of these teams & end up 5-2 none of the 4 teams are in the top 10 rankings & keep in mind The VIKES defense is in the top 10. The VIKES very well can end up 5-2 & tie in the North by the end of these four games.>>> GO VIKINGS

Vikings defense will be tested greatly. But I think the offense will have benefited from this early bye week. As long as the coaches stay patient with the running game, Peterson will break loose. Lets face it. Our offense does not have the skill set to put up points like last season so we have trust the running game. I wish Childress would get more creative with Harvin. I would love to see him in the back field catching screens or even breaking out wide to keep the defenses guessing. Any body know if Cook will stay at Center? He actually did good last week there and it seemed he was more comfortable playing Center rather than Tackle.
