I hope the players and coaches optimism can translte into victories because the whole team looks like a deer in the headlights ,the offense stalls and true they scored thirty points in the second half,it never should have gotten to that point. The defense gets in position to make plays but miss the tackle for one reason or another.Wake up and get going and play like you can and don't wait for Brett , just everybody do their jobs.

Just play like you know what it took to get you toChamp the Division, play without "stupid" penalties ( the one the Refs CAN'T miss), fall on the fumble recoveries instead of dumbly trying to scoop and lose them, tackle like it was a football game not 'touch football'....AND PLAY 4 QUARTERS ALL OUT!!!

This team is nothing like the 06 Colts. They were disciplined, well-coached, and had a great quarterback. We are undisciplined, terribly coached, and have an old, once-great, fading quarterback.

This team reminds me a lot of the 00, 98, and 87 Vikings...for all the wrong reasons!

It's going to be Phila. vs. SD in the Super Bowl. Get ready for a long offseason.

The 2000 team is not a very good comparison to make; they only needed to win one game in the playoffs to reach the NFC championship and that Saints team was not all that good. Ricky Williams--the key player for them on offense at the time--could barely do anything due to injury and the Saints were very limited on offense as a result. Of course with the game against the Giants it became obvious that the Vikings had no business playing in the NFC Championship game.

This years' team is a bit better than that at least, and on paper they are capable of making a run, but they better address why they are so presently flat out there quickly or come the playoffs it will be one and done like last year. The NFC competition now is a lot better than what was the case in 2000, when the NFC was very substandard.

What an embarrasment to Tony Dungy and the Colts to even mention Childress and this Viking team in the same sentence.

To be fair, that SB Colts team had its' problems; during the regular season the run-defense was atrocious, certainly much worse then the 2009 Vikings model. They just happened to right themselves when the playoffs rolled around and strung consecutive strong performances together; something that eluded them prior to that. The Vikings could conceivably do the same with their issues, however the odds are not in favor of everything just suddenly being solved as soon as the playoffs come around. They really need to get some momentum going in this game against the Giants.

"Stumbling"? More like FUMBLING ala "AP". Defense did not fair any better ala Frazier. Urlacher should bring some MEAN in the D. Loose Berrian and get a faster WR.

Why didn't you tell me that before I made my decision to join the this team?

I'm having a second thoughts now, might as well retire before blowing another
playoff game!

Somebody better tell Chilli that the competition is going to get a hellofalot tougher in the playoffs. If the Vikes are going to have any chance of making a serious run, they're going to have to score early and often in every game. The only way the Vikes have a chance is to play an aggressive passing game early and hopefully get ahead in the score. If that happens they can pound the ball to use the clock later in the game.

If the Vikes have any chance of winning the superbowl, it's going to be Favre's arm that gets them there - not Adrian's running. The first time Chilli starts his conservative sh*t (trying to sit on a couple of point lead), it's "game over". Even if the Vikes do get up on the scoreboard early, the secondary can't stop anybody - they've got to score a lot of points. Go Vikes - make us proud!

Every Quarterback in the NFC bracket will feast on
Viking's safetys- one and done.

Frazier is as clueless as Chilly the chump............... Last winter everyone was worried Frazier would get a head coaching job elsewhere. We should have been so lucky.............. Who would want this guy. And our O-line coach, his only credentials were that he was a friend of Chilly from Chilly's college days.

As a long suffuring fan, I am not surprised to be staring at disapointment again. This team has more collective talent than any before,(even Tark @ the purple people eaters), but are falling apart. I don't care for Favre, but any chance to succeed will require Chilly to throw his recent playbook away @ turn Favre loose. The prideful attitude of this coaching staff, and their 'slow to adjust' play calling, will once again leave us as spectators in January!

Here's a simple plan for the D-Backs. Start Jamarca Sanford at safety for Tyrell Johnson, start Benny Sapp at corner for the injured Winfield, and immediately insert Asher Allen for any of the d-backs that looks to be having another lousy game.

Here's a simple plan for the offense....let Favre call the plays!

We can make a high school quaterback look like a probowler. All of the past viking teams have choked when it counted the most.We got lazy mentally and physically of late.Every team adjusts to us for the better. Why did we not adjust to the last few games. The coaches are getting heat from media where there getting exposed you will start to see a new team emerge for the better this loosing was a good thing for this team believe it or not

Or maybe it won't cost them at all. Nice negative headline. They have had some injuries lately and had to make some adjustments. Like all teams have to. They will have some guys back for the playoffs.
Harvin Pat Williams to name two.Chilli I hope has figured it out he will let Brett run the offense. So Chilli won't be calling 3 straight runs plays to start a game agaiin. The Vikings will be fine for the playoffs.
