Just once I would like to see the defense be good up front AND in coverage - not just one or the other. We need Winfield to stay healthy this year and a few others to step up their games.

The excuses start already for the Vikes. You had your chance last year and folded. CT Viking Fan is right - there's always something goofy going on with the Vikings.

Take your time coming back, we've got it covered. I think any injuries in the offensive line would be far more of a problem than the secondary.

Who gave up a record of most yards in One game to The Steelers Yes thats right The Packers defence! Who also gave up 51 points to The Cardinals in there wildcard game yes that's right The packers defence. I think the packers defence was expose & you can thank Favre, Once he expose the defence The Steelers did it & then the Cardinals The packers & there defence lost some starters where The VIKINGS have all 22 starters from last year.>>> GO VIKINGS

The record for most combined yardage in a game is held by the Los Angeles Rams, who gained 735 yards in 1951. And the record for passing in a single game is held by the quarterback of this game as well, being Norm Van Brocklin, with 554 yards. Lets just all enjoy some facts everyone knows to be true this franchise has been around for 49 years now without a Super Bowl win. If you aren't over the age of 35 you wouldn't even have a chance of remembering the Vikings, in a Super Bowl. Many records though, only team to have a player who ran the wrong way for a safety after recovering a fumble. Tied for the most Super Bowl losses, sole owner of five straight losses NFC Championship game, and the largest point spread in a NFC Championship game a 41-0 butt kicking by the Giants. Only 15-1 not to adavance to the Super Bowl. Not to mention the ways of knocking themselves out of the Super Bowl, 12 men in the huddle, and take a knee. Yes please do tell all about this proud franchise, with nothing to be proud of.

Yep, you beat the Packers, but you still didn't win a Lombardi trophy, heck you couldn't even win a Halas trophy. The Vikings, are one step up from the Lions, even the Bears, have been to the Super Bowl in my adult lifetime. The Vikings, are known for one thing around the league, that is finding new unusual ways to knock themselves out of big games.

We will make another run at it this year, using gein bay as a springboard for us to attain what is rightfully ours.
Then you will have absolutely NOTHING but memories of defacating on your HOF QB to sooth your bitterness.
Good luck with all that.

Well at the moment, thats all you have as well, memories, mostly bad. The Vikings, defense is one of the oldest in the league. 0 starters under the age of 25. I'll take that luck, the future looks very bright here, which is more than I, can say for a Viking, team that has a lot free agents next year. If the Vikings, don't win it this year, it will be rebuilding time. Heck even the Lions, future looks more promising than the Vikes.
