Wow!! The Queens are more wore out,(or self defeated), than ANY OTHER TEAM IN THE LEAGUE!!! hahahaha Sounds like the rest of the Queens fans needed an excuse for the poor play that has obviously been forgotten, that is until either the Pack or The Cowboys come to town in a couple weeks!! Guess you could blame it on injuries, since you are the only team, and I use that word loosely, to sustain any injuries. Or, I know, you could blame it on the refs for Petersofts fumble the other day..... One and DONE!! Queeneys.....

Why wouldn't he come back? If he were to leave, it would only because he would want to say he left on a good-note (Best season of his career). Which, if that is how it went down, I could respect that. If he won a Superbowl, I could see him potentially not coming back because a return trip may not be as likely (But once again, could still happen).
The situation where I would feel comfortable putting money on him coming back? Is if he were to make it to the Superbowl, but not be fortunate enough to win.
I would break it down like this
SB win = no
To SB with no win = yes
NFC championship loss = yes
1 & out (depends on the team/game)= questionable.
Deek we may have a better shot at the SB next year rather than this year, not saying we won't this year but think about it, BF has had a chance to get to know this team and vice-versa, Harvin has a year under his belt, and the way BF looks I don't think another B-day is gonna diminish his skills any. Not to mention the money.

To be honest, I was sort of thinking at the beginning of the year it wouldn't happen his first year and would probably take two years. I know he was going to give his best shot, and with the situation that we are in it's looking good for this year. But I think we have a good chance to make it there, the question is if we win or not.--
If my memory serves me right, when BF was a packer he made it to the SB in 96 and lost and returned in 97 and won.
May be a repeat occurance for him.

Which one is it? Favre likely to return or unlikely if they win the SB. You write out of both sides of your keyboard. Truth is, you don't know jack squat.
Favre will return next year Super Bowl win or not. He's having too much fun to hang up his cleats now.
I would venture to guess that If BF won the SB, he would retire FOR GOOD. He would have 'possibly' beat GB 3 times. Won the SB for one of their most hated rivals and went out with a SB victory. I think he would hang em up and start the na na ne boo boos....

I think, if for no other reason, Pat Williams needed this first round bye. After he went out in the Carolina game, the Vikes got burried. Also, he didn't play in Chicago and we lost a sure thing there. So, I would say... Take it easy big Pat! put the feet up, get some snacks/beverages, and watch the ole booooob tube. Rest up homey.

Every team, INCLUDING the Cowboys and Packers would love the week off. Even if not injured and recovering, just the mental break. As far as Favre coming back, I really don't think the money has anything to do with it. I feel the better they do, the better chance of him coming back there is. He will look at the team during the offseason and see the additions and subtractions.

Favre stated he came back for one reason. To have a chance at another Super Bowl. If they win or get there and lose and he feels the team will be better next season. He will come back. He also knows the record book. He would be the first QB to throw 500 TDS and have 70,000 yards passing. He could also add to his win total. Slowing down Mannings catching him.

Before the Favre haters jump on the records, ALL players want to leave the game with some sort of record. I can promise you, Manning looks at em too. So does Rodgers.

Bret Favre is nothing until he leads his team to 3 Superbowls like I did.

Any player would take one Super Bowl ring over the three Super Bowl losses (Tarkenton threw 1 TD and 6 interceptions in those three games by the way)

Bret Farve has only been to 2 Superbowls.

I hear a lot of WISHES. But truth is the only thing that happened in reality is the Vikings kicked the Pack's bASS twice. And the games weren't even close. A-Rodg still has turf in his helmet. Keep wishing Pack fans, because that's all you have!
Tebow

Tebow would be farther down the bench than JD Booty. Great college QB's rarely translate to the NFL. Better to go after an established one than take a big chance in the draft.

Ox, the funny thing about Charley's bullet point, was that it came out after the game time was officially announced.
