Is this guy crazy. I didn,t see Favre out there playing on special teams(as a mater of fact..I didn,t see anyone), or playing defense. What I did see was a team trying like crazy to run the ball in the first half, going nowhere fast. Only in the 2nd half being forced to pass, did they get the running game going. What game where you watching? Favre got them back into the game, and probably would have won if it wasn't for AP's fumble. At least try to be a little bit honest. Other people are also watching the same game you are.

What a stupid article! Chili hamstrings the offense the entire first half, and Favre takes it over in the second half...plays an unbelievable game, nearly pulling out another win (but for a blocked extra point), and the Pioneer Press says "his poor play in December continues" ?????? Are they nuts to print crap like that??

Who cares guys. It's gonna be a quick exit in the playoffs this year again anyway....

This team and the coaching staff are a mess. It's disgusting!

They vikings love to break your heart!

I really hope I'm wrong, but it looks like we're done. They shouldn't have given this moron coach an extension. It's more like an extension of misery. I wanna scream so bad right now.....

"Brett's poor play continues?". Did you watch the same game as everyone else? The 1st half, the playcalling stunk (again), the 2nd 1/2 Favre was amazing! Childress, you brought in Favre to win, let him play (like he did the 2nd 1/2)

The comeback was 100% Favre. Anyone out there wishing we had TJack leading that charge? Offensive line stinks, no d-line pressure, terrible secondary play and special teams who must've missed the plane. Lucky we even had a chance to win this one. Brett has proven to be a better play caller than Chilly. Plus, he can get it done on the field if we keep him off the ground.

Somebody explain to me why AP only runs to the right and not behind the high priced lineman on the left side? I'm tired reading about how bad he feels after funbles. Cover the ball and stop fumbling, Mr. Handshake!

Sure glad we extended Chilly so no one else stole him away from us.

There. I feel better.

They continue to call Winfield "one of the best CBs in the NFL". What a frickin joke. Neither him nor Griffin can cover worth a s hit. Two weeks in a row garbage QBs have shredded our secondary. Just wait until they play a good QB (which all NFC playoff teams have), theyll put up 60 on us. One and done this year, again I reckon. Hope Im wrong but I dont think so.

Some good posts except for that dumba$$ from Texas "Learn Sage"

I agree, this offense is to plain and predictable. Chilly is so stubborn and unimaginative. Also, not much pressure from the defense! Most importantly, the Vikes have the poorest pass defense, and have for many years!!! I think they were better without Winfield, the guy was torched last night. This team still needs better play from special teams, and don't forget, Kluwe just plain SUCKS!!!
Although the expectations were very high, the Vikes are not and never were a Superbowl contender this year, still too many weaknesses. Now they're being over exposed!!!

Favre is the only reason the Vikes are still in it. If you watched the game you saw Childress and Bevell in the first half and Favre in the second half. A spread offense is what this team has success with. Childass is trying to put his ego in play and we saw what that looked like during the first half.

A high school db, let alone one of the best in the "bus" (Gawd..where did this midget man get that title ?) would never have bit on that inside fake, let alone in that situation...

The guy stinks. Can anyone and everyone please say that he and and his se...ally suspicious purple team should be kicked to the curb ?

They are so embarrassing..esp this midget man of no speed and no reactions!!

You think you have bad coaching, what about the Bears not putting Danieal Manning back their to return kick offs at the end of the game, when all they needed was a field goal, after he had been ripping the Vikings special teams all night, or the Cover 2 or Cover who defense or my new nickname the donut defense they played in the second half allowing Favre to check down all night...It is painful to watch, but congrats guys on a great season, has to feel batter than being 6-9!
