I was expecting an easy win tonight. The Cards were simply the better team. There coverage schemes confused Favre and Warner picked apart our secondary. As we all know, when a Favre led team falls behind, he's going to try to force the ball. Tonight was no exception.

This loss hurts but remember it's just ONE game. We are still 10-2, still in second place and still going to get a first round bye. Better to have to deal with these problems now then to have them pop up in the playoffs.

Rough night. Bummer to lose the game - but we had a couple padded wins with near misses against San Fran and Baltimore. The team was off tonight.

The story of the night is EJ. Hopefully the injury isn't as serious as the cart suggested. Getting him back by the playoffs would be huge.

2. Pass defense where
3. ST where
4. pass rush where
4. The whole team looked like crap
no ajustments a half time and then we lose henderson on top of everyting Iam sick
the Vikes better wake up or we will be 1 and done in the playoffs

i have had really bad beer that wasn't as flat as the VIKES were tonight. to make matters worse, the injury bug was in the house...i hope i'm wrong, but, e.j. looks like he could be gone for a long while. lastly, we just do not have a secondary to compete with the better teams and if AP is shut down..as one post noted BF tries to make up for it by slinging the ball a lot...nothing good will come from that as we saw. oh well, we had our dances with lady luck and tonight she had another date. regardless, after today's debacle in Washington...we will have to go through the bayou anyway...GO VIKES!!!

Even Mr. Favre looked rather flat tonight with some poorly thrown passes. Not a solid performance with the Viqueens tonight. Better luck next week.

Per Chili at the press conference: EJ has a broken femur and will be staying in AZ where he will most likely have surgery tomorrow....yes it is bad no playoffs for him :(

How to lose: step 1)conservative, predictable play calling. step 2)when you're behind, don't run a hurry-up offense until the last 3 minutes of the game. step 3) run Adrian P. up the middle time after time when they've got that defensed. step 4) when you're behind, don't conserve the clock by throwing to the sidelines. Throw in the middle of the field instead. step 5) Go long only on the last series of plays in the game. step 6) NEVER think outside the box by having your defensive line change how they lineup and never have them loop or stunt to fool blockers. step 7) Keep Antoine Winfield out of these games until the playoffs. That way he'll step on the field when he's rusty and therefore be ineffective. FIRE CHILLY. There will only be heartbreak with his leadership during the playoffs.

There are reports that Henderson is done for the season and possibly for good. No matter, he most likely will never be the player he was...Very serious injury. The Vikes are very beat up after this game...many injuries. Makes you wonder what the Saints will do to them, as aggressive as they are !

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. Take some Tiger-Time-Off and you'll feel better.

The geniuses on the sideline are too conservative and predictable. Let's harness Favre's experience to loosen things up. Ignore your helmet radio, Brett!

Ap looks much slower than earlier in the year. We should be handing off to Taylor and Harvin. He'd have run past everyone if healthy... Bet you anything he's hiding a leg injury.

E.J. may never walk again without a limp again. I heard it's broker femur. Probably end up being a tough way to end a career.

Wake up to what? The Vikes have a lot of problems.. They didn't just show up tonight, they've always been there. They did nothing in the offseason to shore up their very weak secondary, and did nothing to add experienced depth to the linebacker position. Now they will pay the price for that problem. In addition, no ability to run block. Peterson now looks confused and lost out there. He is a non factor! It's gonna get worse folks. Mark my words! I've accepted the inevitable....one and done in the playoffs. I for one will not be disappointed in January, because I've already seen the light and accepted the fact.

I ALSO thought that this game was VERY poorly called and coached!!! They were just flat, NO adjustments. It's like they were trying to play dink and dunk against Arizonas down field attack! VERY POOR in game adjustments!!!!! PLEASE wake up B4 next week!!!
