Pat Williams is a riot!

"It don't matter about him," Williams said. "That's their problem. Stafford is Detroit's problem. He don't play for the Minnesota Vikings, so I could basically care less about him."

I am more bent about the call they didn't make when peterson was horsecollered on the (would've been a TD run) by Buchanon so he could pull him back to knock the ball out and then still drug him to the ground by his pads. how come knobody called that! so obvious, then everyone starts talking again about AP's ball handling. you can't tackle him from behind so you cheat i guess,

Officals call out the nimber of a penalty when it is done so why doesn't the nfl during the week call out the officals who blew the calls. go vikings.

I live in arizona and don't have very many opportunities to watch my favorite Vikings, but the game with Detroit was thoughly enjoyed.

I agree it was definetley a horse collar tackle on AP. How could they miss it? They were probably watching the great moves AP made to get free. Even the doofus announcers missed that one as they continue to make people beleive the Lions were somehow the better team. Why Childress didn't mention that one on AP is beyond me. If the NFL is doing their job there will be a fine levied on this one. Go Vikes!!!!

you can blame the Williams boys for the calls going against the Vikes, they fought the suspensions and the team is going to pay for it, a directive was sent down from the league office to the officials..

I've considered buying the jersey of Allen, Peterson, Favre, Harvin, Winfield but always come back to getting Pat Williams jersey. He epitomizes Vikings football.

There's no conspiracy. The penalty calls sucked but every team deals with this crap. Bud Grant has lobbied for the officials to be full time employees of the league for many years. Why the league doesn't clean up this crap is beyond comprehension. All other pro sports officials are full-time professionals. That's not good enough for the NFL.

Not only that, the league will push for the Vikings to move to LA, even though Jacksonville is the most pathetic franchise (all home games blacked out). The State of Minnesota has messed with management....that never pays!

The Ray Edwards call was wrong, he hit him with his shoulder, plus the chop block forced him to go airborne. The Calvin Johnson fumble was recovered by the Vikings, but the officials ruled it out-of-bounds (where's the challenge flag?). AP was horse-collared on the long run/fumble. What about Paymar's defensive delay of game?????

There's four blown calls...is there a conspiracy?

The officiating was as bad as during the Vikings loss to the Steelers!

That was an amazing blitz....at least 3 vikings met at the quarterback with one coming over the top.

The play on Peterson wasn't a horse collar for you to have a horse collar penalty the defender has to grab the shoulder pads and drive the player into the ground, which did not occur if the defender can get his arm around the body to tackle or force the fumble. Time to stop crying about officiating, coming into last week the Vikings were the fifth least penalized team in the league.

It appears that for some nothing short of flag football will suffice. That way any contact at all will call for a penalty.

I live in AZ too. If you want to watch all the games go to www.myp2p.eu and you can see all of the games. It sucked we had the AZ game on two weeks ago instead of the vikings and I dont like going to bars so I came across that site and bingo!

What game were you watching? It was a clear horse collar, he pulled him down by grabbing the shoulder pads directly behind the neck, and used his other hand to punch the ball out.

He launched...it was a helmet to helmet....Edwards was having a
good game until he made a huge mental error....it is what the
ref sees not how player tries to justify his action....big mistake.....
dumb plays like this could cost his team in a much bigger game.....
there were too many mistakes and penalties all around by Vikings....
don't expect to go to SB with sloppy play like this....there are NO EXCUSES
for it.....wake up!!
