<quoted text>I just hope they continue drafting valuable players as they have done the past 3 years, whoever they select I am sure that player will be an asset. Mays has had some critics, they say his ball skills are average and he cannot cover the slot reciever in the nickel, just an FYI-GO VIKES-DRAFT WELL-their title hopes may well hinge on who they take the next couple days.
I agree. At this point, go BPA all the way.
And PLEASE no Tebow!!

Below average franchise? Im pretty sure the Vikes made it farther than 28 other teams last year!!!
Every year 32 teams try to win the superbowl, and only one does, whats your point knucklehead? Thats right, the Vikes suck because they made it farther than 28 other teams. I wonder what you would say about those teams? Keep hiding behind your blogs.
Below average franchise? Answer yes. Yes the Vikings, made it further than 28 other teams, but they haven't been to the bid dance in over 30 years, and still never won one. This is the typical excuse from a team that has never won a Super Bowl. Go Colts.

I was interested in this article until I read it and the players you think would be a good fit for the Vikings didnt have names to go with their descriptions.

You think maybe next time you write a story on draft prospects you could possibly include their names? Just an idea....

Super Bowl? The analysts and x-players on NFL.com don't think so. They don't even see us in the mix - with Favre. Hmmm. Could they all be right?

Like I said..The Vikes need to work their 'Johnsons' harder. They got a great group of 'Johnsons' and they just don't work them enough. Start working your 'Johnsons'!

I know this much about Tebow and the Vikes:

If they draft him, fans will blame Childress.

If he pans out, they'll credit Spielman.

Tebow said he knows where he is going already. Rumor is in the top 15.

Really

Is that why he decided to NOT stay in NY then for the draft

Fran, you may disagree but I wish they would have taken Best, Vikes still could have gotten a decent DB or O-lineman in the second, just a gut feeling, we'll see how he pans out in the NFL. With Pouncey and McCourty gone I believe they should have pulled the trigger on him.

I want the vikings to take Kindle at LB or Allen at FS. Best has too many concussions, i think. Rams pick is where clausen goes, possibly, although they won't want to lose who they must have targeted.

Maybe we'll see. McKnight is still out there maybe they will grab him along the way, I wish we could have had a shot at Pouncey, dam, who do you think they will take?

I believe he's had 3 concussions in the past 12 months. If that's accurate, I wouldn't touch him. Looked awesome against the Gophers last year, but serious concerns.

Personally, I think the Vikes will take Claussen tomorrow. I dont see the Rams drafting him after they took Bradford in the 1st. It was a good trade I think, looking at the teams who between pic 30 and pic 34,(Colts,Saints,Rams) there is little risk they draft a QB and thats why the Vikes made the move, to still get Claussen but get an additional two pixs as well! I like the trade.

yup. I'm not a fan of detroit's draft this year. Should have gone left tackle & then could have taken Cody at NT if they liked or Kindle at OLB. Bad picks imo. Last year they did well.

Everybody is one hit away from their career being over in the NFL, just sayin'. It is just that I would really feel comfortable if the Vikes had more QUALITY, I repeat, QUALITY depth at RB this season so I am biased.

np, pal. i want 3 second round picks - I'd love kindle, Ducasse & maybe allen or a corner like Ghee, maybe. Vikes don't need 9 picks. Who do you like?
