Something's being lost in professional football of modern times.

The toughness and desire of players and coaches to get out in the elements and endure a full game.

Everyone seems to be wanting to move to the warmth and comfort of dome roof stadiums.

No wonder we have whiney players verily stubbing their toe or getting bumped into a little bit and then limp-skipping off the field and whining to the coaches that they need to sit out and get first aid.

This will be an intersting game. Love the Vikes, but give this game to the Bears who are more used to the raw elements at this time (not for long though)......and after all the venomous posts on these sites by Packer fans, there may be just a little satisfaction in seeing their playoff chances evaporate. They get Giants next who are seriously p'd off. Gb fans? Had you been more civil in treating your adversaries with a little more dignity...then the Vikes may produce in your favor but your whining about Favre the last 2 years and gloating has spelled your doom. Yeah the Vikes won't be in the final run but neither will you.......and the bears will be laughed out of the play-offs. Go Eagles and Steelers!(Steelers for 8th SB appearance and 7th your heart out cowboy fans!)

Kluwe, shut up. You're a punter. Collect your check for kicking a ball 7-8 times, then run back to the heater on the sideline.

Get over it. In the 60's that's how they played the game. Big babies. Go Pack. Oh so close last night. Again, bad coaching. Bad plays that cost game. Vikes please beat the Bears. Oh by the way. We are still in the race. Not so much you.

I have been following the Vikings since 1969 when Joe Kapp was quarterback. Those were real men. Today what you have is a bunch of spoiled pussies. Waaaaaaaaaaaaa the field is hard. waaaaaaaaaaaaa it's cold. Buck up you girlie boys, quit whining and play some real football for a change. Prediction...Vikings lose by 25.

Tell you what folks you wouldn't catch me at a football game outdoors in the middle of December for fear of being hauled away for being unstable. I deer hunt in Novemeber in Minnesota and am smart enough to have a small heater in my deer stand because my hands get too cold. Why would I go to a football game near the end of December and freeze my butt off? Duh.

I was at several of the cold games at the Met back in 1975 and 1976 when they played the Rams and the Cowboys in December. Here's a tip to those going tonight: dress warm, bring a flask and huddle together in the stands.

Typical crack pot kicker, he will play maybe 5 plays and he is the one crying the loudest. the old players played on a field PAINTED green to give it the look of grass, quite whinning and punt

Kluwe should find a new job. At least a new team. Hey Kluwe, go tweet yourself!
