Nobody wants to see a fat tub of lard that resembles a block of swiss cheese in the Pro Bowl...Pack your bags and leave, like NOW!..

McKinnie said in an interview with the Pioneer Press last month. "I wanted to come out and show that I can play at a Pro Bowl level consistently regardless of if I go or not. I still feel I'm one of the elite left tackles in the game."

...you didn't and you're not...now go away and try breathing through your left eyelid...GO VIKES!!!

Denial (and that is not a river in Africa). McKinnie has not improved his skills since day 1 and is the reason Brett had to limp thru the season....along with rag doll Sullivan.

The Vikings are unlikely to get rid of this dreamer. They have too much money invested in his current contract. McKinnie has never played up to his potential. His new head coach and new line coach need to give him some reality therapy early. If he doesn't perform as expected dump him whatever the cost. Chilly and Bevell's zone blocking scheme also sucks. Both McKinnie and Loadholt would benefit from a power one on one blocking system.

Unbelievable, Mckinnie is mediocre at best and that is stretching it. This guy is fat, slow, stupid and lazy. I wish thew Vikings would get rid of him. It is ludicrous that he thinks he is one of the elite tackles in the league. What a moron. He can not run block and is too slow to pass block against a average DE. Every game this year at least 2- 3 times I saw him standing there looking down at Farve, Jackson or Webb whilet the guy he was expected to block was laying on top of our quarterback. He has bulk but being slow and also slightly retarded he presents no problems for opposing defenses. I believe he is the main reason Peppers went to Chicago.

OK, I checked the date, not April 1. I must still be asleep and dreaming because there is no way that I read McKinnie is an alternate for the pro bowl, or that he said he is an elite left tackle.

I didn't even bother reading this load of crap... one of the worst LT in the league, barely average, maybe he should await an invite to the average joe bowl

Nice alternative universe McKinney is living on. Sure he'd make All Pro....if there was a position of swinging gate.

Where's the clueless button when you need it!

The way he played this year coupled with last year's pro-bowl fiasco, for him to be on this PB team is an embarrassment to the NFL.

This is unbelievable! McKinnie is, and has been for quite some time now, a complete joke at left tackle. He looks more like a revolving door than a blocker.

The fact that he's even considered completely proves that the Pro Bowl is irrelevant and is not worth watching anymore.

What a joke!
