Chilly can credit Joe Flacco all he wants to but he better not make light of this increasing and alarming fourth quarter trend where the defense falls asleep and the offense gets too conservative. Keep attacking on both sides of the ball, we've got a great quarterback, a great runningback and very talented receivers, keep opposing defenses on their heels as for our defense, we are loaded with talent but need to keep the pressure on the other teams quarterback, cause chaos on every down, force the quarterback into making mistakes and turning the ball over, come on Coach Frazier, turn up the dial on the "D" start attacking with more exotic blitzes

i agree, we can use the patriots as an example. Once they were up three scores did they slack off and let the titans back into it?

Send 5-6 at the QB in the 4th quarter when they are desperate to get back in the game, don't send 8 and leave your backfield to cover 4 WRs!

The offense isn't on the field enough. Too many 3 and outs! Defense on the field way too much!

it is all the responsibility of the coach. It is called making adjustments is it not?...and yet, Zygi is going to give this clown a contract extension? for what? the man has won NOTHING but 1 division title in his 3 years...WOW....this team is doomed and will NEVER win a big game becuz this guy's lack of brains will be exposed. The Queens are 6-0 becuz of Favre, not becuz of the Clueless One.....they win despite him, not becuz of him...

Who wanted to bring Farve in though??? And who called him and picked him up, and put his neck on the line to get him?? Childress......Maybe you should just watch the team win and be greatfull that the team is 6-0 with Farve as QB...Cause Childress was presistant in trying to get him here

Vikes must stay agressive for 4 quarters. If what you are doing is working for all but 10 minuites of a game you better look at what you were doing for the 50 minutes when you were stopping them just about cold. Somebody relaxed and it almost bit them including the coaches. It looked like Denny Green's ultra soft prevent losers zone defense.

I'm sorry, but this "theory" of backing off in the 4th quarter is just B.S. It's sooo typical of the Viking's play calling over past years, even before the arrival of C. It's important to remember that the game is 60 min. long, and that they better play every one of those minutes as if they were behind! Either that or arrange the pay scale so that those playing with less than full effort will be compensted accordingly? Better to emulate the Broncos, please!

I do enjoy watching the Queens, very much so. I DON"T enjoy watching them being outcoached in most games..they win DESPITE him..you will see my friend, when they actually play a big game, IE, a playoff game they will be outcoached, will fail to make adjsutments and will lose the game becuz of their coach, Favre will not be able to bail them out of every game. Klink brought in Favre to save HIS own job, period...What is the Clueless one going to do next year when Favre is gone, what then?...

Why is it that when things go good for the Vikes it's in spite of Childress and when they go wrong, it's because of him? Last I checked, it's the players who play the game. I haven't been the biggest Childress fan either, but you can't argue with the improvements from year to year and the outstanding roster he has helped put together.(Wait! since it's a good thing, someone else must have done it.)

I can't beleive the team is 6-0 and there are people who would still want Chilly fired tomorrow. How rediculous is that?

Vikings coach Brad Childress credited Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco for playing through pressure, and he blamed tackling for some of his team's issues Sunday. Remarkably, the Ravens needed just 11 plays and less than three minutes to move the ball 181 yards — and score three touchdowns.

Pressure? What pressure? Our secondary is a sieve. A muskie net trying to grab minnows from the water. There's nothing remarkable about what Joe Flacco and the Ravens did. We stunk it up in the fourth quarter as we have done all year. The Broncos of the world will eliminate us quickly if we don't close out games. Note to Wilfy: DO NOT SIGN THE CHILLMEISTER TO A CONTRACT EXTENSION UNTIL WE AT LEAST GET TO THE DANCE THAT WILL BRING TO MINNESOTA SOME PRIDE, AND THE LOMBARDI TROPHY. Note to the Chillmeister: TURN UP THE HEAT. GET SOME PRODUCTION FROM YOUR PLAYERS. WE ARE NOT 6-0 BUT FOR ONE PERSON - BRETT FAVRE. YOU LUCKED OUT AND GOT HIM. NOW, USE HIM AND ALL THE REST OF YOUR PLAYERS MORE SMARTLY (OH, AND GET NEW RIGHT DB; #23 IS HORRIBLE AT DEFENDING THE PASS, AS ARE OUR RESERVES). Note to Leslie Frazier: I WOULDN'T BE LOOKING PAST YOUR CURRENT DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR POSITION JUST YET. NO OFFENSE, BUT YOUR DEFENSE REEKS IN THE FOURTH QUARTER AND MUCH OF THAT IS COACHING AND HOW YOU MOTIVATE YOUR DEFENSIVE SQUAD. Note to self: STOP THINKING SUPERBOWL IN MIAMI.

we'd better get real and get good in the secondary or we'll get beat. pittsburg will try to test it a lot and we better be ready. We can not let up or we'll start a downward streak. The wins are out there if we want them and pittsburg is no different we can beat them. go vikings.

That Tyrell Johnson is a bust. Put ol Tyrell in the bin with Marcus McCaulley, Ryan Cook, TJack, and TWill. Bustie, Bust Bust and Busted. The Vikings DraftNIKS must do a better job with mid round picks. This crap is getting WAY to old. CMon!

Train wreck a-comin', I fear. We've been down this road before, at 6-0. The league will not fail to take notice of these lapses on our part. I see a rough middle third of the season, followed by (hopefully) a late-season rally to get in the playoffs. But without HFA, we are gonna be up against it in January.

The truth is, the pass defense has been bad all year. This team won't go far in the playoffs unless things change
