What about Greg Blue? He was good enough to start a couple of games as a rookie for us back in 2006, and I always liked his hard-nosed play. To be fair, he really hasn't caught on with a team since we let him go, but I have always wondered why we let him go but kept a few of the ones we have.

It will most certainly be Marcus McCauley who they bring in.

How about trade for Ronde Barber? He is 34 and highly paid but at 0-6 Tampa has to be willing to pick up part of his salary for say a 4th rd pick. Let's win now.

a 4th round pick is way too high for barber he's no better than paymah and can't play ST, mccauley is the only logical choice. the best move would be drop that cover 2 garbage and git the safety's involved in the game.

I thought they should've brought a few of these guys in to compete with Griffin in the offseason instead of signing that bum to a long term contract. Frazier should be on the hot seat right now for how porous our defense is playing and how he is calling plays. Remember the screen play that killed us in the playoffs against Eagles? Hasn't gotten any better has it?
Id sign McAllister in a heart beat with his size. Please do SOMETHING to help these guys out instead of signing a inexperienced DB. Both the safeties are questionable too.

Chris McAlister (Baltimore Ravens); Patrick Surtain (Miami Dolphins); Ty Law (New England Patriots); Corey Ivey (Ravens); Deltha O'Neal (Denver Broncos)

That's an awesome throwback reference. The worst corner to play the game! If you google ol' Wasswa, he's now a bank executive. Go figure.

The best move would be to bring back McCauley. He knows the system, and if Winfield is only out for a week or two you haven't spent a lot to bring him back... Bringing in the Surtain's, Ty Law's of the world doesn't seem like a good move. There free agents still for a good reason.

I would say bring in McCalister or McKenzie and maybe Ty Law if he is still got the speed and coverage skills. Even after Winfield comes back one of them would be a great Nickel corner for us to have. Plus the experience they would provide. Wilf better do something cause we will get beat even by Arizona's passing attack with what we got now.

I would sign McCallister and Ty Law for the experience factor alone.

Ronde Barber wont leave Tampa. He's already stated he isn't leaving. McCauley's not too bad to hold down the fort for a game or two until Winfield returns. O'Neal wouldn't be so bad either. he's quick.

Wasswa Serwanga fell short of NFL standards for a CB but he was an excellent student at UCLA and is a very bright young man. That he is enjoying success outside of football is no suprise to anyone who knew him!

With their experience I would take McKenzie and McCallisater in a heart beat. Play for today when your players are hurt and when you get them back then decide the long term unless you get a nugget some place but I think they are all gone.

I still love this Sid Hartman quote "Wazy Swaney..whatever. When he learns how to cover or tackle somebody I'll learn his name".
