I'd rather see Frazier be the coach of the vikings instead of some big name coach who's already won 20 superbowls. Why? Because if we do win the superbowl it would be more meaningful and it would be truely about the vikings, not about cowher or parcells adding another superbowl to their resume. cowher will always be known as a steeler and parcels as a giant. Same as Farve, no matter what he does here, he will forever be a packer. Frazier on the other hand coaching wise, if he does well will be remembered as a viking. Lets not forget about a couple former vikings coordinator who went on to be head coaches. Tony Dungy, Brian Billick, Mike Tomlin. Whats one thing they have in common? Superbowl wins. HIRE FRAZIER AS HEAD COACH ZIGGY!!!
I posted the other day that i listened to an interview with Jerry Jones and he was asked about his next coach and the big names were mentioned. He stated that in the history the NFL no coach that won the SB has ever went to another team and won another SB. I went and checked it out and he was right. History suggests that the big name SB winner is not the answer. I like Leslie for this job. Just saying

Frazier is better than Childress, but Frazier has been the defensive coordinator in charge of one of the worst defensive secondarys in professional football for the last several years. Even last year it was their ability to pressure the quarterback not their ability to cover that kept their pass defense acceptable. I would like to see what a more scientific type of coach like Brian Billick could do with that team.

Webb looks like he has the making to be a great QB, yeah its just one game so lets see, they have to give Webb the start sunday in detroit to get another look and there is no fricking reason to consider Favre. It would make Frazier look like favres lapping boy and not a head coach.

Webb did show his potential last night, however we should not be too quick to hang our hat on him. Let develop him first under a veteran. I agree with Frazier, if Farve is healthy he should start. He is the starting QB and he is getting paid 1 million a gain. He needs to earn is pay. This last game against Detroit doesnt mean a thing at this point. I believe Wilf has seen enough to make his decision.

I wouldn't put much into this win. This Viking team still has more downside then up. Usually bad teams put one good whipping on a good team. The Eagles just overlooked the Vikes game as a give me.

If you are talking about that 12 men on the field penalty, that was against the Iggles. Sorry try again.

It wasn't so much the win, as it was the chance to see Joe Webb finally get on the field for a look-see of what he is capable of doing...

your right the game doesnt mean a dam thing so why not give Webb the reps? the arguement that Favre is being paid the big money makes no sense when they should see what Webb can do in his second start, witht the play of Favre this year any other QB would have been benched for being so horrible. Put your wrangler jeans on and put a picture of your beloved favre next to the tv if you want to see him this sunday while Webb plays.

So Da Bears, be honest, were you a Viking fan last night?
Actually I didnt even think about the Bears clinching #2 seed until after the game. Now I have no clue if the Bears are going to go all out vs. the Pack. Vegas sure doesnt think so with the Bears TEN point underdogs. I certainly dont want the Pack in the playoffs, they would be a dangerous team right now. Guess we will just have to wait to see what pans out.
