I am over joyed for Benny. He has done a great job at corner for us. Now the real test comes Sunday. He is going to have to be on it on every snap. We need a colaborative effort from every single player on our team. I know that we can win this game. The media and others are still not giving us any respect still. Use that to our advantage.

This story is not important.

What we SHOULD be talking about is how those mean Vikings ran up the score on me and my Cowboys teammates Sunday.

What's up with that?

All Benny needed was someone in his mind who told him he wasn't good enough to make it. That's all most of us need...a reason to prove someone wrong. Now all we need is for Herm to come into the Vikings locker room on Sunday and make his, "you play to win the game" speech.

If Sapp always tackled with the perfect form he used on Marion Barber, the Vikings would not have been able to acquire him. I think he's been getting tips from Antione Winfield.

In fact, one of the really encouraging things I'm seeing is that the whole defense appears to be working on getting better, and it's paying off late in the season. Guys like Sapp, Ray Edwards, Jimmy Kennedy, Keith Farwell and Jarmarca Sanford are starting to shine. The whole Vikings defense is playing aggressively, which is how you put a really good offense on the defensive.

This is a nonstory, all of these guys think they are the best, and cry whenever anyone tries to give them any collective criticism. He was probably told to work on something, to improve, and he didn't think he had to.

I so badly want to believe the Vikes will win on Sunday. I try to picture it...the feeling after the winning Longwell field goal; a long bomb to Berrian; or a big run by Peterson to ice or take the lead. But I've been hurt before, and I cannot allow my heart to be crushed again. I still have So now, I'll go on living in the moment and enjoy this week for what it is: A feeling of accomplishment for dominating a good Cowboys team.

I still hope they use Winfield more to help stop the pass. I also like using Anthony as a blitzer from the corner. It's hard to tell if he is blitzing or just reading the end run so well?Any way I like Winfield just being on the field any possible way! He makes the Vikings d very special! They have confidence with him out there!

I hope that the much maligned Viking secondary, which has been considered by critics as the weakest link in the Vikings organization, will have an outstanding performance against Drew B. I would also like Adrian to have a career day like Ray Edwards and Sidney Rice. Is it hard for the coaches to design plays for the Vikings' running back crew of Peterson, Taylor, and Young?

You nailed a big one Jimbo. Depth in playoffs is a major factor. Rodgers-Cromartie and Rolle get hurt and Brees has a heyday. Flozell Adams hurt and Jared Allen goes wild. Even Demarcus Ware and the "feared" pass rush went byb-bye after Ware's one sack after he knocked himself silly on KcKinnie's big butt.

Watch how Jets are impacted with Ellis's broken hand. Or Saints with McRay having a bad back. Vikings are mostly healthy but their very solid depth makes Winfield's foot and big Pat's elbow less cause for concern than other teams are having with injured starters. Since most of this depth is on D this points more to the solid work of Leslie Frazier. I know he deserves a head coaching slot but I still want him to stay.

Edwards is right. Sapp has the talent and tools, but lacks discipline. Look at the late hits, and taunting penalties he's had this season. He can play but he needs to shut up.

Your right, we can't have those stupid penalties next game from him, he is a chronic offender in that area, did it all his career, almost blew a game or two last year with those dumb penalties, hopefully he knows it is unacceptable at this point in the season.

If they had made the change to Sapp during the Carolina game, we win that and the Bears game. This personnel grouping is working well right now, of course it starts up front as it always does. Remember how the Giants won 2 yrs ago with a beat up secondary......the PASS RUSH. Stuff their overrated run game and make them 1 dimensional.

I do fish but primarily for smallmouth in the spring when they are spawning, some real good action. I like to go for Northern's on our peninsula in the spring too but no not a big walleye fisherman, you need a boat for that(although they do come in at night in real shallow water in the spring as well). The fishing is ok here but obviously nothing like you guys got up there.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Libra

You're in an idealistic mood today and only want to see the best in other people. This is typical Libran behaviour, because you aren't good at facing up to harsh reality at the best of times. Today, you're ready to believe that someone is a candidate for sainthood or that they're the best thing that's ever happened to you, regardless of whether it's true or not.
