I hear the Giants have many players hurt on both sides of the ball & they will sitting them for the VIKES game so if Dallas can win that 2nd seed will be the VIKES but anything can happen so keep your fingers crossed GO VIKINGS
Scrooo that. I want their best damn players on the field. I want to know we beat their best. If we can't beat em, we don't deserve the number 2 seed. They left the door swingin open for the eagles and the eagles have been bustin everybody in the mouth. Time to put on the big boy pants and win, or lay down and let the men play through...

Before I have to hear how bad is AllDay is because of his fumblitis from one more disgruntled tunnel-vision Vike fan or gloating Cheesecurd, here are some numbers to ponder on this New Years Eve:
Adrian Peterson – 45 games, 20 fumbles: Avg. 0.44 fumbles per game
Jim Brown – 118 games, 57 fumbles: Avg. 0.48 fumbles per game
Walter Payton – 190 games, 86 fumbles: Avg. 0.45 fumbles per game
Barry Sanders – 153 games, 41 fumbles: Avg. 0.27 fumbles per game
OJ Simpson – 135 games, 62 fumbles: Avg. 0.45 fumbles per game
Adrian Peterson – 3 years, 20 fumbles: Avg. 6.6 fumbles per year
Jim Brown – 9 years, 57 fumbles. Avg: 6.3 fumbles per year
Walter Payton – 13 years, 86 fumbles: Avg. 6.6 fumbles per year
Barry Sanders – 10 years, 41 fumbles: Avg. 4.1 fumbles per year
OJ Simpson – 11 years, 62 fumbles: Avg. 5.6 fumbles per year
Credit to Smudgers over at the Daily Norseman, but it should be posted on every article that mentions Adrian dropping the ball.
Now, this is not an excuse, by any means. Peterson needs to protect the ball better. Great runners fight for those yards, and sometimes it is going to backfire. My own view is that he simply needs to top flaring his elbow and keep it tucked tight to his ribs.
Have a safe and happy New Years. Don't Drive Drunk. Skol Vikes
Maybe the question should be about WHEN you fumble, not how many times you fumble. Or in Favre's case, WHEN you throw an interception.

Winfield is an outstanding corner but, its obvious that things are'nt right with him. Bring in Sapp to start and let him hopefully get better for a playoff run. I'd rather have a healthy Sapp then what I've seen from Winfield the last 2 weeks.

The defense in general has been HORRIBLE these last few weeks. Lets make some adjustments. If not even Favres magic won't be able to score enough points!

i like the "no excuses" , at least you know they are taking their recent struggles seriously, as well as knowing they haave problems and aren;t just trying to pull the wool over anybody's eyes
