Spot on Sansy..........Spot on.....!!!!! They truly do not know how to handle success.......you can see the frustration in Favre's eyes. This was my concern early on when they were doing well, could they handle the pressure as the season rolled on........they've proven they can't.......and their coaching staff is a big part of that.......Chilly has proven he can't either..........so we continue to be the Chicago Cubs of the NFL..........will it ever end......at least the 70's Vikes got there..........at least they got there........take note also of the list of head coaches the Vikes have had since Bud Grant left..........not one of championship caliber pedigree..........that says a lot..........

Random thoughts about the Vikings

-Childress can't successfully micro-manage an offensive football game.
-Coaches don't adjust very well during the game.
-The cover-two isn't working.
-The offensive line needs to be shown how to block for passes and rushing.
-The pass rush has all but disappeared.
-Special teams needs to get back to the fundamentals. Tackling.
-The defense needs someone to show them how to wrap-up and tackle.
-Favre audibles as-well-as any quarterback in the league.
-Play action works when in the spread offense.
-Five players with over 40 receptions, get back to this type of offense.
-The passing game now sets up the running game.

You are right! Almost all of these things are indicative of poor coaching. Move Chili to the front office (chief pencil sharpener?)and forbid him going on the field during games.

They don't start playing hard until they absolutely have to - that's what I'm seeing. You're professional football players - go hard all the time and get it done. Out work your opponent on every play, not just when you need to! My god! Chilly, let Brett Favre do his thing - did you really bring him here to do otherwise? The lethargic slowness of the offense is creeping back to pre-Brett Favre and guess who the conservative finger gets pointed at? Hint: NOT BRETT FAVRE.

Response to ther above posts: Yes, more play action and use of the spread formation is a must to help our deficiency in pass blocking by the tackles, especially against a great speed rusher(s). Favre is an ace when it comes to checking down just be careful not to abandon the run to early, balanced teams win in the playoffs not one dimensional ones. As far as the draft we do need another LB and a DL, secondary player wouldn't hurt either. Got to be thinking about trading up for a QB stud though, there are 5 legit ones coming out.

Queens dont need more players. They need character. That went out when chillie Picked his kid from the airport.(faver). Brent has had no character since 2002. Its all about farve! I tried to tell my queen fans that when they signed him. They thought i was jealous.Never was jealous. Just telling them the facts. Jealous? Two words Aaron Rodgers!

Also the cover-2 is struggling, giving up 7 TD passes to Moore and Cutler in two games-wow, time to start jammin' the recievers some at the line. Pass rush hasn't had a sack in what, 3-4 games I think. Edwards has to get some pressure as Allen and Williams are doubled a lot, he has to find a way to get to the QB or else let Robison have more p.t.. Good points from above post #2.

OK one more thing, lol, is it me or have we kind of given up on the screen plays, we run a few I know but do we need to run more? We have been one of the best screen teams in the NFL the past couple years and our personnel for this type of play has actually improved this year(Harvin, BF). I don't know maybe I am grasping at straws.

U dont have noone else around u tellin u the truth wig so pulleeeeez listen to me.chili aint worked, aint workn, aint gonna work.make him a scout-a boy scout!Make frazier ur head coach. this kills me to say cause i think he may be chilis defensive equivalent

Bench Tyrell Johnson in favor of Sanford, Asher Allen for Winfield until playoffs, Farwell (bright, hustles) for rookie Brinkley. Stickum for Leber and Kluwe, lastly, Harvin for punt returns. Reynaud has major trouble positioning himself so he can catch the punts in the air. He cost the Vikes 30 yards on a punt last week when he was 60+ yards away and Bears punting into the wind. If you noticed, the Vikes put an up man Allen to help late in the game. It was a parcells pet peeve when the PR didn't catch the punt in the air. Now thanks to Reynaud I see why.

Sansavere: "[Vikings] need to get better at adjusting on the fly". No shiite! Unfortunately, with Clueless at the helm, it ain't gonna happen. He always gets out-coached. And, with his unimaginative, predictable play-calling the opposing D knows exactly what plays are coming. The only real solution is to let Favre have more input in play-calling and the freedom to call audibles. Are you listening, Chilly?
You are right on, I think you will see that happen, these last few losses may have been the final nail in the coffin as far as that goes, we will have to wait and see. You know what is sad, I was thinking earlier that despite the lack of creativity in the play calling it is still the most creative we have been under coach Childress, lol.

I hope your proud of your team for beating our 3rd string O line. Jared A got 7 of his 13 sacks against them. What has he done lately? Just like brent came back against the bears 3rd string D. And LOST! Doesnt suprise me. Looks the same way he looked with the Packers the last 6 years.
