Isn't this the reason why you play football? Competition?? As a player and coach don't you want to measure how good your team is against potentially the best NFL team in over 2 decades? Now I am not saying play hurt players but the Giants are far from a team that is in sync. Eli needs all the practice he can get. It almost sounds like the Giants have a built in excuse for this game if they don't do very well. To me it's the easy way out. The Giants must and should play hard for this game. It could propel them through the playoffs. Heck if they win this game it will probably be a bigger victory than a first or even second round playoff victory. Nobody remembers the wild card playoff losing team but they would remember the team to end a perfect season. Hey Tom Coughlin you want an 3 year extension win this game and beat TB.

They should play the starters a little bit to keep them sharp,- the offense definitely needs it. They have such an uphill climb they will have to be at the top of their game, and that won't happen with any rust.

Face it, we're not going anywhere in the playoffs and the team needs momentum for a win. Eli is playing horrible and our defense is inconsistent. They need to be sharp and ready to play.

Someone has to beat the Patriots, for the good of the game! The "perfect season", the "perfect team", all began with the fact that they were cheating. Count me in on the asterisk! Just like the home run record holders who have turned baseball into a sport of cheaters. Feel all the history you want, I just feel sick. Take a lesson from baseball's failure. I've got the perfect solution. Have Fred Robbins jump off side on the first play and crush Brady. Then Co field on the next and on and on until they get worried and pull Brady out of the game. Then go after Moss, take the penalties. Then when they pull their starters we can rest ours. Simple enough ;^)
