How many inane remedial posts can one guy from Pompano make?

This guy makes the truck-stop toilet stall wall look like a literary masterpiece.

Trent is lacking in courage? The guy is, for all intents and purposes, one major hit away from suffering severe, permanent brain disfunction yet he's out there competing at age 37. What is more troubling is the lack of his own players backing him up while the taunting played out. This team lacks intensity and heart. A 180 lb baseball pitcher will not hesitiate to protect his own by plunking a batter who weighs 40 lbs more than he does. Maybe if Trent was "the face of the franchise", we'd have rallied around him more. It sucks.

He was a D-tackle for one, he also is a football player and leader which is the reason he decided to block at all.
Your gonna be very dissapointed if they put skirts on the QBs and ban all QB contact altogether.
Your second paragraph doesn't resemble anything readable.
I'm not surprised.
In my 2nd paragraph I was thinking faster than I can type - dumb ass!! As if you've never encountered this problem. Anyways Trent is lucky as well as stupid to get involved in a tackle that could and has placed his team in a position w/o a veteran QB (not knocking the QB Lemon) but he wasn't expected to play unless necessary which has proven to be the case. In all my time watching football highlights; the QB has never attempted to tackle or block a LB who has intercepted a pass or recovered a fumble, a DB maybe but (very rare). So what made Trent feel that he was capable - does his neck have steel rods inserted. I bet they do now - idiot!!

What are you trying to say... Evry black person in the nfl or in general for that matter didn't come out the hood. That was a classless post. I agree that Johnson rant was out of line, but I understand. It was in the heat of the moment.... Sure, Ray charles could have seen that Greens body was motionless, and I'm sure now Travis is thinking he's an idiot for going off like that, but your comment was sterotypical and out of line also.
Typical coming from Houston. Write to your own teams rag.

If Joey Porter is such a furious bad-ass, why didn't he start a brawl and put the taunting fat-ass flat on his back. Joey hasn't done much else this year. This would improve his stead with the Dolphins fans, and probably with his teammates too. If this was baseball, Roger Clemens would go head hunting at Travis Johnson. Why can't our Dolphins players stick up for our fallen, and taunted upon, leader. If you continue to act like pussies, you won't win a game this year or obtain the respect of the fans. A little retaliatory action was needed here, but nothing. I'm ashamed at the "meekness" and "gutless" reaction to the taunting jerk. If you continue this meek (and weak) play, you'll end up 0-16, and deservedly so.
While I DO share your sentiments, had Porter or anyone else on the team retaliated, Goodell would have suspended the retaliaters. Cam would have kicked them off of the team... look what he has done already regarding lesser "infractions". Hey, who knows... maybe Cam is good for Porter as a person! However, I don't see the fire anymore that drove Porter to become the player he once was.

Let's look at this from a different angle:

Trent Green doesn't get a concussion and Travis Johnson's knees get blown out; lost for the season.

While Johnson's opinions are well meritted, his TAUNTING of an unconscience human being should have him suspended.

Point and case: this type of blocking should be ILLEGAL!!! People lose their careers this way whether you are the blocker or the "block-ee". Thank you Mike Shanahan for introducing this practice to the league to begin with... dirty MF.

Get well, Trent!

Travis Johnson is blaming Trent Green to take away from the fact that he is an extremely mediocre player. He is probably mad at himself for sucking so much and it is easier to blame Trent Green than his own crappy playing abiility. With that said, his vitriolic rant was disgraceful. I can give him the benefit of the doubt if he didnt know Green was hurt, but what he was spewing three hours later in the locker room was unconscienable. He is so tubby, his weight is probably what made his knees hurt. What a classless, ghetto thug. But then again, he went to FSU. what do you expect?

i wouldnt have cared if porter WAS booted off the team. He is a gangsta wannabe, and he is awful. I wish he would go somewhere else. Maybe bless New England with his god given talent of not shutting up.

I am not a Houston Texan fan. Travis Johnson should not have been the one flagged, Trent Green's hit was illegal and should have drawn the flag. I understand why Johnson was miffed and everyone is only looking at the outcome and not what actually happened on the play.

You lie. But it doesn't matter cuz texan fans have posted here to decry Johnsons azzinine behavior. You are just shamefully unable to see that what happened on the play is: An inexperienced blocker selling out for his team tried to block a guy much bigger then he by going low (the way you're taught to block bigger guys in pee-wee football). He aimed low, but johnson try to go over him (instead of slap him to the ground like he was taught in peewee football). The result was a concussion prone player's head getting hit by a 300+ pound linemans knee while moving forward.

Any idiot who thinks Greens head hitting Johnson's knee was anything more then an unfortunate accident is...well...clearly an idiot.

But then some of the idiots compound this act of idiocy by insinuating a 300+ pound man standing over and talking trash to a smaller mans unconcious, lifeless body is somehow less then reprehensible.

You are an idiot who compounds his idiocy.
