BF did exactly what needed to be done to win. he made plays based on what the kittens were doing. as he said last week, 150 yds and a win; is much better than 450 yds and a loss. i was glad to see some play action in the redzone for a td, gives other teams something else to think about when we are down there and makes the offense more flexible...GO VIKES!

Brett Favre did all he could do is what you mean. Pretty pathetic against the lowly Lions.

Vikes on top of the Division. So far so good. When will the VIkes start dominating people? Got to see also Berrian and the other weapons, on offense, defense, and special teams.

Let's work on that pass protection this week in practice and run defense.
Next week gonna need to play with more intensity in front of the home fans.
Vikes need to feed off the crowd noise and take it to another level.

They blitzed a lot-Foote was in his face all afternoon so he didn't have much time. Lions played a cover 2 which is supposed to shut down the West Coast however the deep ball should have been there a couple times as the safeties can be exposed in this scheme, a win is a win and it was on the road against a divisional opponent, never easy.

One poor half, one good half. So what else is new? This is boring Childress football.... same stuff, different season. Brett Favre will be lucky to get 16 TD's this year.

"Passing attack still isn't very deep". There's an understatement. Defences will keep clogging the line of scrimmage because no one fears the Viking passing attack. Come the playoffs, playing against good teams, this will be the Vikings' undoing. Does Chilly expect to be able to pull a vertical passing attack out of his hat, when it's needed, after playing the season with a dink-and-dunk aerial game? I'm not suggesting that the Vikings foresake their running game and fling it downfield with abandon. But, if you don't use a muscle, it will wither and be all but useless. Wake up, Chilly!

You need a five-step drop to go deep but Favre barely has time for a three-step drop.

The plan is simple. take what the defense gives you, nickle and dime, move the chains, tire out their defense, keep our defense fresh. What can be more beautiful?

Please allow B. Favre to be himself. Fans like to see Berrian, Harvin, Rice, Shancoe, and Lewis deep, deep, deep. to the endzone. We like Randy Moss type of plays not Fran Tarkenton dink and dunks. Distribute the wealth to multiple weapons. Don't want to see All Day hurt. Keep on winning. I hope they dominate in the Super Bowl. Bless you Vikes.
