Kudos to Brett for playing cool, and to the offensive line who helped him do it.

I love the way Brian Robison plays defensive end, but for him to offer up that lame excuse he had for his fumble is just ridiculous. He is on the return team to block, and yes, to handle short kicks if he has to. I would assume he has been told thousands of times if he gets the ball, run until the opponent gets close to you, then fall down with the ball in your hands. That bonehead play completely changed the game and put us in jeopardy of losing it. We had great field position, a big lead, a team on a roll, a crowd sitting on their hands in their own stadium, a Packers team with their heads down, and then..........a frickin' lineman tries to be Percy Harvin and fumbles! Changed the entire atmosphere in that stadium. All of sudden the energy went up on the opponents and there fans 100% turnaround. The good news is we won, and hopefully Robison and others like him will use it as a valuable lesson for the rest of the season. He made a lame ass boneheaded play and should be man enough to admit it. "I was just running the ball, that's it". Lame, very lame. Try this. "I was just running the ball and I should have fallen down about 3 yards prior to that with the ball still in my possession. I know I am not a return man, and the coaches tell us all the time to get possession, then hit the ground before any contact with opponents paid to strip us of the ball, that's it. My job is too block, I know that". Sadly he didn't offer that up. Mental mistakes are the worst kind for any football team. especially those paid to play the game. I wonder what he would have offered up if we had lost that game we DOMINATED prior to his brain-fart?

I was about to post the exact same message regarding Robison. Of the entire article here, that stood out as a glaring red flag for me. The guy just does not/did not "get it". He has been in the league for several years now and should have known the stakes at that point in the game. Bonehead play, alarming response. He needs to be fined, to set an example for the rest of the team that accountability and situational awareness mean something. He very nearly cost us this game!

Robison you are kind of hard on this guy. I don't blame him just the Coach and the special teams coach in not telling him what to do during a situation when he gets the ball on Special teams. Thats why we need a Coach that KNOWS what to do on any aspect of the game.. Chilly is a second hand coach with a All pro team.. GO VIKES!!!!!

Bottom line. Vikings win. Packers lose. Boooohoooo. Suicide watch in Wisconsin today. Thousands of lives ruined. Mass depression. Of course, this is after they wake up from their drunken stupors. Favre carved his former team up. You could not write a better script.

Lesson learned to Packer fans. Trash talking doesn't win football games and when you lose you look like an idiot and feel even worse.

Please keep Dugan back at H-back because he actually whipes linebackers out. Tahi is so terrible! Tahi 90% of the time is on his back or looking around for someone to block without making any contact at all. Watch next time he plays and you will see what i mean. He is not the answer at H-back.

Former Ranger, Me too! I have lived in Wisconsin for the past 30 years. To be a Vikings fan in this enviroment takes a lot of heart and big shoulders. It feels nice to have those Packer fans so quiet after this second loss to our Vikings.(Still can't stomach Childress)

Cant blame all on Robison although he could have taken a bit more responsibility for it. The defense seemed to take a 1/2 quarter or so off to let them come within breathing distance. Anb by the way, that roughing the QB call for GB was a absolutely horrible call. But its good to be a Viking fan these days!!!

Amazing how true skill and leadership can make such a difference. Can you imagine poor T-Jak taking us 7-1? Not likely. I am concerned with the D getting drilled in late quarters and as I have said before I wonder if AP has been coached away from his own instictual running mentality or is Klink unable to create plays that take advntage of AP's abilitys?

Why is it when it matters most the running game can't seem to gain one yard. Last week against the Steelers we had first and goal at the one yard line and Adrian got stuffed, and again yesterday on fourth and one the same thing happens before halftime. Also on Adrian's touchdown, he had to claw and stretch the ball over the goal line just to score. You would like to think that a one yard gain would be automatic with the best back in the game but it seems like Adrian doesn't get the holes he needs for some good runs.

Adrian SHOULD punch Tahi out.....he sucks! I have never seen a worse FB. 4th & 1 and we run right? behind Herrera and a rookie RT? Bevell had his share of "former cheesehead" moments in play calling yesterday. Why not a fade to Rice in the red zone also? He has glue traps for hands. Packer fans....your embarrasing. Your insecurities were never more obvious than yesterday. You have never cheered for Rodgers like that nor will you again, and the way you booed your "hero", and yes, he is still a hero to you but you will never admit it because he left you at the alter, so to speak. The manner in which you booed so vehemently only shows your love of the man and how you are simply bitter, bitter people. All of you will give him a standing O in 5 yrs when you retire his jersey.....we call you hypocrites!!!!

Robison did the samething a week ago when he basically took the ball away from Dugan on a short kick he needs to ride the bench and never see the field on special teams again
