What is it going to take to figure out that you need a QB that can throw an out with some zip and at least occasionally throw a long pass without the shot put trajectory? Strech the field a little and we might even be able to run the ball a little.

Placing the blame on Pennington and Jones is absurd. The coaching staff repeatedly calls elementary plays, and then telegraphs them by formation. I mean really guys; yesterdays game reminded me of the ultra conservative Herm days. Basic and boring. We are playing not to lose, rather then playing to win the game. Think about it, do we ever attack our opponent? No, we always counter attack. The Giants linebackers were pointing and calling where to pinch their linemen; and on the first interception, the defensive back jumped the route before the ball was thrown. Am I the only one who can see this? I can basically call what play Schottenheimers going to call before he calls it. Pathetic! Put the blame where it belongs, on our coaching staff.

I hope I'm wrong about this, but I'm starting to think that The Bears knew something when they gave Jones to the Jets for practically nothing.
I don't get why Schottenheimer is so conservative this year, with more weapons than last season.
