I agree that the vikes need to make a run at Boldin. They went after T.J. already. So it's clear they see WR as a viable are they need improvement in. You can't tell me that any of the position players that would be available @ #22 would be better able to start for the Vikings than Boldin. He's worth a 1st and a 3rd. Maybe they could work it to swap positions in a later round instead of actually giving up the lower pick. Either way, I think if they could get this, you pull the trigger.

I want the best players we can possibly get but sometimes I wonder if it even matters when it seems like Childress is afraid to deviate from his simplistic game plans and play calling. With that said though......Boldin is that posession WR we have been missing since Cris Carter.

I don't think it's an issue of costing draft picks but more of an issue of contract $. Edgerin James wants out.......isn't there room for a Chester in there somewhere?

Lame QBs make a Boldin deal worthless. Vikings have 3 lame QBs.

Jason you have my thoughts exactly. As I read the article, I too thought of Childress' play calling.

Maybe it isn't Chilldress that needs a "win-now" attitude. Maybe its Zygi that needs a change of attitude. Zygi has got to get tired of "so-so" seasons and losing money on expensive players just to have an average season.

Stop crying. The Vikings will probably go 10-6 and One-N-Done AGAIN in the playoffs. Cry then.

The Vikings will have a great weekend at the Draft.

We have a great defense, the best RB, A very very respectable offensive line, and I am sure it will be upgraded, Loadholt, this weekend. I would enjoy seeing Pat White in purple. Maybe trade down to get an earlier 2nd round pick.... look forward to the posts after we have a great draft.

teams passed on Randy Moss because marijuana issues. He made all of them regret it. P Harvin is a game changer. You can't teach speed or aggressiveness. All this player does is score TD's. A defensive coach worst nightmare. We know how teams can paint a player to be bad during the draft hoping everyone pass on him in the first round and they can select him with their second round pick. Adding White and Harvin if possible would be the NFC worst nightmare. The Viking would no longer have the need for speed. Numerous successful O lineman have been found in the later rounds. The draft is a hit or miss opportunity. I am still concern about the injury A Boldin had in the playoff. Did he make it worse. I know he has to pass a physical. Out of the blue they are willing to talk about trading him. A good coach can handle player (B. Parcell)

Harvin is a game changer...lol. So was Pacman before the draft took place. Ricky Williams was a game changer too back in 1999.

Chilly and company, please draft Harvin so all can laugh when the NFL suspensions start rolling in.

I never thought we would actually agree on something, but it looks like we the same opinion on Percy Harvin. Overrated and a complete moron.

So how lame are you considering you're not being looked at for the position or can even play at a college level?

What the hell does this mean? QB rating is not a percentage. Drop some more knowledge for us, please.

Sucks he had those problems, cuz I liked the way he played football. I still remember the play he faked pass protection, the LB blitzed and he ran a simple 10 yd up-route and Culpepper dumped it to him and he went 60 some yds without a defender in sight. Mmmm.....the Whizzinator..........

Good WRs make a QB's work easier. If a guy can get off the line and get off bumps and jams, he's gonna be open. He gives the QB a reliable target when in trouble and makes the QB have to force the ball less.

I can't believe this. There's all kinds of people on Topix today that I agree with. I never get this many people to agree with me.
