I'd be shocked if Boldin ever came to the Bears...see, the thing is, I hear Boldin wants to play for an NFL offense with an NFL quarterback...looks like that leaves the Bears out...

He's another Drew Rosenhaus lunatic/malcontent. Put him on the Bears and he will end up with more suspensions and felony arrests than he will TD's.

Sure he is only thinking about the Super Bowl. That is why he left so quickly after the NFC Championship game and didn't celebrate with his team. He wasn't pouting and throwing a fit, he was preparing for the Super Bowl.

He will play for whichever team pays him the most. Don't let the players fool you, It is ALWAYS about the money!

He would be a God send. Plain and Simple. Would make even Grossman look good. Plus he would stretch the field for Hester. This should be the #1 guys we go after. No doubt about it. Would also help against teams putting 8 in the box to stop Forte

Boldwin has speed, toughness, good hands, runs good routes, and is a gamebreaker. Why would the Bears want him? It makes me sick that we don't go after top flight players. Well, Like McCaskey was quoted a couple of years back. "As long as the Bears are competitive that should satisfy the fans." Wrong Mike, A superbowl title and nothing less is what would satisfy our fanbase!

Personally, i have REALLY started to think TWICE about free Agents. You never seem to get full extent of their services. they either get hurt the first year, or their production starts to go down hill right after signing. The draft is the REAL way to go to improve your team. Which makes the Bears a sub-par team. Jerry Angelo has s-crewed-up the draft so much the last few years that the Bears will probably be a bad team fo at least 4-5 years. Just think, if the Bears had drafted a proper, QB when the Bears drafted Cade McNoun, he'd be 32(same age as Donovan Mc Nabb) and in his prime. Look back at the drafting of Michael Haynes, If the Bears had drafted Good DE, when they chose Haynes, he should be a "monster" by now. A "stable" Cedric Benson, would not have precipatated a drafting of Forte(and maybe a good safety instead). 2nd and 3rd round picks are supposed to MAKE THE TEAM, and contribute. Bauzin and Benett, to name a few.
It's time the Bears become more "Diligent" in their choices in the draft and the signing of free agents. Misteps in the draft can set-back an organization for years

A "Good Free Agent" not only wants money, he also wants to join a team that has a chance to be competitive. One that has a Decent QB, The Bears are still looking under the Rocks at Halas Hall to find the one they think they stashed there a few yrs ago.(If they only could find him)

The Offensive Scheme and Coordinator has to be a fit for them also.

All of those points pretty much leaves the Bears out of contention for "Most Higher Quality" Free Agents,
unfortunate but True. They may be able to sign a few lesser quality FA but no one the quality of Boldin.

Let's not forget Ole MIA Lovey Smith. Who in their right mind would want to play for him and have plays called by (Pee Wee League) Turner? Maybe a few "walk-ons, Has been or Never will-be".

If the Bears do pull of a Major "Free Agent" Signing, one that can do what a Boldin can do. It will be a great Coup for them! Unfortunately I do not foresee it happening at this time. I hope I am wrong, very wrong for the Bears sake.

Why are we even talking about a WR with 2 years left on his contract when T.J. Can't-spell-his-name is a free agent in Cincy!? T.J. is every bit the WR Boldin is, and he won't cost us draft picks to get. Are you listening Jerry?

Well people Orton is the QB of this team and the offense played fairly well under him till he got hurt and shell shock set in,All this team needs is aWR who can help open the field for Hester, we have Olson and Clark for the short stuff if need be! I say give Orton 1 more training camp and see if hes ready! We don't need old QBs we need to let Kyle air it out.And the defense to get back on track now that Rod's there it will help

And not a single one of those players is anything beyond a second tier talent.

And other than Berrian, each one of those players could easily be replaced by someone superior.

Watch Gandy look like a turnstyle Sunday. He's no better than St. Clair at LT -- smallish and can't run block.

Cardinals keep Fitzgerald and we get Boldin as our #1? As usual, our #1's are somebody else's sloppy seconds.

With Orton our QB, anybody care to bet that the only way we get a decent WR in Chicago is through the draft?

the bears will never make this trade, because the cardinals would want draft picks and that's something the bears would never do. We're the team that trades everything else for more draft picks.

There are alot of players who would love to play for Lovie because he is a 'players coach'. No full contact, no tackling in training camp. You could be playing the worst game of your life and Lovie will pat you on the back and tell you to keep dominating.
