Nobody said the Steelers cheated. The refs were just really lousy this year.
Lol the guy who wrote that wasn't being serious. Just sarcastic I believe.

Okay in response to Peeperguy about putting Fitzgerald in the endzone for the defense on that last play that won the Steelers the game, that isnt a bad idea at all. Especially since Fitzgerald DOES in fact have DB experience and played as a DB in high school/university.

The reason why the Cardinals lost, though, is that...

1) Arizonas Defense was great throughout the postseason, but they failed to stop the passing game when it mattered most. They committed too many penalties, getting around 100 yds in penalties, and Rodgers-Cromartie, although he is a rookie, was not playing like himself in this game. He left Holmes wide open in the final Steelers drive to get a 40 yd play which pretty much won it for the Steelers. Also, I think Adrian Wilson, who has been the leader of this Cardinals defense for 6 years now, needed to step up and lead his team to NOT committing stupid penalties (most of which were personal fouls) and instead focusing on winning. Adrian Wilson also should have been used more as zone coverage in the field since the Steelers have very fast WRs in Holmes, Washington, and even Sweed.

2) Kurt Warner. He did play a great game, but he did make some pretty bad decisions throughout the game. The fumble with 5 seconds left, without a doubt, was a mistake by the ref and should have been called as an incomplete pass in my opinion but I think that his interception returned for a touchdown was a terrible throw. Firstly, he threw to Anquan Boldin while he was covered, and when he had James Harrison, defensive player of the year, waiting beside Boldin for the pass. He should have tried a draw or a little play action RB screen to Hightower or Arrington, and that surely would have got them the TD. Other than that, Kurt Warner played pretty well. Although he made some bad decisions when he was throwing to his receivers. He should have used Steve Breaston a lot more, since Fitzgerald was doubled and Boldin was taking out Townsend.

3) Arizona OL. Long story short, it didn't take enough pressure off Warner at key moments, and Arizona went 3 and out way more than necessary.

Although Arizona lost, it still was a great game. And Fitzgerald is too good of a WR to never win a superbowl, especially when he is surrounded with all that talent in Arizona. I think he is a great role model though, and I wish him the best of luck in the future.

PS. Whoever wrote this article, you obviously know very little about football. No offense. Try watching NFL network once in a while. Or you should have paid attention to John Madden on Sunday when you could have.

Who cares? They lost and Steelers won.

Quit overanalyzing the game. Both teams played well. there were momentum swings and the Steelers had enough time on the clock to drive it down the field. AZ makes one stop on 3 and long and they win, but they didnt. Congrats PIT. You just hope that the Bears can figure out how to get there and start the the minimum 8-PEAT!
