Not only is Finley set to bring it because he's in the final season of a two-year contract extension, the Packers gave him a boost this spring by guaranteeing his roster spot by honoring the money due him the second year of his contract.

Raymond Rivard certainly is an optimistic Finley fan. I hope he is right, but I don't share his belief in Finley. Finley has to prove it on the field. And he hasn't done that yet. No matter what happens I expect this to be Finley's final season in a Packer uniform.

I tend to believe Finley will have the best year of his career this year!!!!!!
His comment after his last deal ( 2 yr 19M) he stated it was nice for both and hes still young enough to bust the bank!!
He has sucked at times and has been not quite brilliant but quite good at times,a nightmare of a matchup assuming he catches the Frigging football..
I just hope GB doesnt play the he is mature and sign him Long Term game. He has a monster year, benefit from it and Let someone else pay him his 9M+ per year.
Unless Finley can be had for an average/ slightly above average salary for a TE..Let him go! He needs to mature and stop chirping and if he does,he can and will be solid but until then!

IN short i am extremely excited and optimistic about Finley this year, i just find it hard to trust someone who only has great years in Contract seasons.

I agree with you. That is why I think it's his last year in Green Bay. I don't think Finley can be had for an average salary and the Packers are partly to blame for that.
