I didn't notice any drop off in play when Flynn entered the game. It's nice to know that the Packers can repeat even if Rodgers goes down.

I believe they can win with Flynn too, maybe they only score around 24pts a game though.
If I were a team like Seattle I would be looking into signing him as FA next year. He could have very nice career, still young and has had time to develop unlike all these rookie QBs we see this year.
As Hasselbeck was to Favre, Flynn could be to Rodgers. It is amazing the QB talent that comes through GB.
It would be a shame to see him go as FA, I would like to see the Pack get something for him. Maybe the use a tag on him and try and trade him.

I don't see that happening, though. Tagging him would be really expensive (basically top starter money for a backup, possibly even more than he'd get in free agency), and then they have to find someone to give them the picks in trade he'd be worth. And every team out there knows that the Packers would have to let him go at some point, so the trade market would be pretty slim.
I like the guy, and I wish we could keep him, but he deserves to be a starter. He's way too good to be a career backup.

Answerman hit it on the head.Flynn can start for half of the NFL teams and deserves a shot as a starter. We will lose him and maybe we can end up with a compensation pick for losing him, since we will end up losing Ryan Grant as well.WHo knows, they trade Finley for a high pick ( since i cant see Ted givng Finley top WR money which is what he wants).
He Flynn was a 7th rounder or so.Brady was a 6th ( not that Flynn is Brady ) but hopefully you guys get my point.TT and MM and th staff have proven to be extremely good in drafting and im sure they can find another qb,develop him and who knows.
In Hinsight the Brewers should have traded Prince Fielder as if the new agreement goes they may lose a pick for him,so PF leaves for nothing but in NFL football they may get something and again the GB Packers are pretty damn good in drafting.

Flynn will be a starter elsewhere. I just hope it's outside the division.
