Please tell me this isn't so!!!! If you're gonna give up draft picks, make sure you get something in return. We need youth, not players run out of town because they're not happy with their situation or coach....We need an offensive left tackle and that should be the 1st draft pick!!!

pennington is horrible anyway. maybe playing in a warm weather city will give the false impression he actually has an arm. you should be happy to send him off, send mangini too. they both are holding down your organization. get some respectable players in there so the pats dont have to listen to the reason they are so good is they are in a bad division. i would like a division race for once. kind of like last year but that was herm edwards team anyway.

Patsfan11111. I'm a Chiefs fan and have no interest in anything to do with a trade or giving up a 1st round pick for Chad or any other player to be named later.

If the Chiefs pull the trigger on this trade, which NY is hoping they do, I swear, I'll drive to KC to shoot King Carl and Stern Herm. Why should we waste a Round 1 pick on a QB that never was a top 10 QB in the NFL, and an aging WR? Just so they can be reunited with their former coach? That's beyond stupidity. Herm, if he even lasts the rest of this season, won't be here beyond next year, because the Chiefs unfortunately will NOT improve under his helm. Then what? We're saddled with two monster contracts for underachieving, overhyped players on the downhill of their career?

Don't make this trade Carl! Not if you value your miserable existence!

Look how excited Jets fans are about this trade.

Something tells me we shouldn't think about taking on a player who couldn't be less wanted on his own team. Probably because they've seen his skill upclose for several years, and realize what a steal they would get by getting a FIRST ROUNDER for him.
This trade is just STUPID STUPID STUPID for KC to even think about it.

Why do so many players come to K.C. for their retirement...shouldnt they go to Arizona or Miami???

Our QB is o.k. he just needs some time in the pocket as well as some time playing NFL ball. Croyle was hired as the 'future' and now no one wants to give him a chance.

Is this possibly another Chief getting the shaft for a trade just so some fans will be quiet??? Is this just a distraction from the fact that our RUSHING game SUX??? Going into last weekend, our pass offense was 9th in the league and the rush was 26th????

I know, lets get another C- QB to distract us.

THIS TRADE WOULD BE HORRIBLE FOR THIS TEAM AND ORGANIZATION BUT REMEMBER WE ARE DEAL W/ HERM AND CARL AND THAT MEANS ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

PENNINGTON AND COLES- NO WAY THESE ARE TWO PLAYERS THAT HAVENT PRODUCED AND NEVER WILL. WE HAVE CROYLE- THAT POSSIBLE I SEE AS A BACK UP AND ONLY A BACK UP. IN THE FIRST RD IN THIS YR DRAFT WE NEED TO GET A HULK AS A OFFENSIVE LINEMAN AND THEN OFFENSIVE LINEMAN AND ANOTHER PASS RUSHER FOR ALLEN AND HALI- THATS IF WE SIGN ALLEN BACK AND WE BETTER. REMEMBER THERE ARE GREAT QBS COMING OUT THIS YR AND NEXT YR IN THE DRAFT LIKE B.C. QB, THE FLORIDA QB., MISSOURI QB ALSO KEEP AN EYE ON THE SLEEPER UNV. OF DELAWARE QB- HE REMINDS ME OF BIG BEN.

I HAVE BEEN A CHIEFS FAN FOR 25 YRS AND THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST SEASON EVER EVEN WORSE THEN THOSE 2-14'S SEASONS. FIRE HERM KNOW TILL ITS TOO LATE- PLEASE FIRE HIM.

REPLACEMENTS- COWHER, PARCELLS, MARTY BALL, BOB STOOPS (FROM SOONER COUNTRY),

I've seen #3 QB Thigpin play and he will be a solid performer (backup or otherwise). Again just green and needs playing time. I still believe they need to bring in a dedicated QB coach. They need to invest in that offensive line and bring in some corners to take over down the road.

Take Parcells off the coaching availability list. He just signed on with the Dolphins as their GM.

I Love it. Just a year ago KC fans were laughing at Jets fans for trading Edwards. Now??? LOL Good riddens. We'll take you're 1st too. I hope!
