In Joey Porter 's world the Jumbotron serves as the stadium's arbiter. If its operator decides not to broadcast a controversial play that might hurt the home team, that's just as good as an admission of guilt ...

Exactly...just like watching the horses run....any sporting event where lots of money is involved can be rigged....its just another business...remember that playoff game against SD in 95 or whatever where Natrone Means stepped out of bounds on our 2 yd line...they gave him the TD we shoulda coulda woulda ....SB victory against SF Miami48 SF 38 a shootout...this year we go 10-6 and beat the Giants 17- 13 in the SB and all the NE fans and bandwagon riders will have there aqua and orange on

I feel the same way Joey, I can't understand why none of the reporters or anyone else is not making a big deal out of this....I think it clearly was a fumble....CLEARLY!!!!

I guess it means that when YOU win, it was decided by the refs, right?

Porter...stop crying!!! The TV replays showed that his arm was moving forward. You made a great play....just a split second too late.

The Phin-Phans should hold your head high. Your squad played a great game. Sadly for you, so did the Texans.

...wow....I guess I should have read some of the posts before telling Porter to stop crying.

...The WHOLE ROOM needs to stop crying. Do any of you know what a fumble is? His arm was moving forward, there is NO DOUBT about that. In fact, the only DOUBT I have is pertaining the football I.Q. of some of you Phin-Phans.

Go Texans.

I totally agree with Porter's comments on his sack/fumble play. That should definitely have been reviewed. The refs f****d that one up big time. With that being said...we shouldn't have been in that position to begin with. We obviously don't have the talent in the secondary to stop a WR like Johnson. Miami isn't a Super Bowl contender yet but at least they are making things interesting. Miami definitely needs more help out in the WR corps. Besides Camarillo, they currently don't have receivers good enough to hang in a shoot-out. I'd like to see them get Roy Williams if the price is right. I wouldn't give up more than a third round pick.

Go squat on your one win. It should have been reviewed. The refs didn't take the time to review the play when it was very questionable. They reviewed the possible interception and didn't even bother with Joeys play. When a game is that close, and time is running out for both teams, all calls should be reviewed if their is any uncertainty. On this play, there was A LOT of uncertainty! This was a screw up on the refs regardless if it was ruled a fumble or not.

Porter raises some critical points. That game was botched, and guess who was ref: Ed Hochuli...hasn't this guy bungled most games he's been in this season. Why didn't Sparano challenge? Why do these refs have sole authority to challenge what they want in the most critical stages in the game. Thew DOlphins should send the tape of those plays to the NFL.....Porter forced that fumble, and Goodman intercepted that ball...Games are too important to allow some ref decide it...What the hell was the booth doing? I thought all plays inside 2:00 were reviewed?

I realy hope Porter has 2 more years left like this 1. If he does it gives the Dolphins time to get the monster receiver and shut down corner they need to win it all. It could be next year with the right offseason moves. He is pure football intensity and he deserves that chance with this team. I still have playoff hopes this year though.

The fact that Porter waited till after the game to show his frustration is a possitive sign. He knows he's gonna be fined, but he didnt get a penalty screaming at the refs during the game. He spent his own money voicing his displeasure with the call. I can respect that.
