Why Showing Up To Minicamp Was The Right Move For Tramon Williams

Jun 23, 2010 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: BleacherReport

Aware of the Green Bay Packers' secondary deficiencies as I am, the news that the team's third corner, Tramon Williams, would be reporting to mandatory minicamp this week came as quite a relief.

I appreciate that Tramon came to minicamp, but equating civil disobedience as M L King described it and a professional athlete trying to get a raise is plain ridiculous, Brian.

Yep but its good he is taking snaps with the starters. If he and WOodson stay healthy, they should go a long way.Pat Lee,Wil Blackmon are both liked by the staff, but, neither stay healthy and if they can, they can actually learn how to play it and contribute then of course Al harris should be back soon after the season starts.I just like the fact Morgan Burnett is playing very well and very well could be a Starter at SS and Bigby not only might not get his LTD,but, he may be a backup or even traded or released.

Send Bigby packing, he had his chance.

It's not so much Bigby, it's Drew Rosenhaus, his agent. He always advises his clients to take this route. But I agree that the Pack are not motivated to keep him.

I see your point NLY,BUT,if Bigby didn't like the game plan from Rosenhaus,Bigby is a man and an adult,he could fire Rosenhaus.Bigby SHOULD have seen this is not a good situation, esp. when the Packers traded up to grab a SS, i just wonder what his trade value is.Id imagine it isn't very high at this point. He has been exposed as a not so good coverage safety, but yet, hes holding out for a long term deal.
