Whoa, one-sided much? That was basically the AP article with digs at USC thrown in. Classy. Plagiarism and bias. Nice journalism.

If UCLA was peeved about that late TD pass, the Bruins shouldn't have called a timeout after USC took a knee from the victory formation. A timeout by the opposition in that situation tells the team that is willing to let the game end 'come on, is that all you got?' USC answered. No. Here's 21-point deficit.

"It also did not help that the schools agreed to play the game on a chilly November night so it could be televised by Fox Sports Network."

Do you think the Penn States and Michigans of the world would ever have to make empty-seat excuses on a 60 degree night? Or even a 20 degree one?

Wow... this writer is one bitter dude... no doubt hates USC football. He did not have one nice thing to say... nothing but negative and critical comments. He is no doubt a big bruin fan. Give it up man... either report with some objectivity, or get out and spare us the pain of reading your diatribes.

Sorry, but Pete Carroll provided evidence of being both
clueless and classless when he gave Barkley the go-ahead
to run up the score in a game that was over. I've never
been a fan of Neuheisel, but he clearly gained the
upper hand in terms of fan support. Carroll and his
coddled snot-nosed blue chippies only proved that their
critics have been dead-on right in their assessment of
what has become a malignant cancer in the PAC-10.

So, Pete-boy .... how much do you think beating UCLA
by 21 is going to help in moving into the Top 10 in
any poll, you dufus. Hey Pete, go home, have a drink
and think about what you might have done to do some-
thing which might have cast USC in a class light.
Think about it ... you could have taken a few knees,
walk across the field, congratulated Rick N. on a
good defense and a good game, and made USC look like
a class university.

Instead you didn't even make it about USC ... you
made it about YOU. And that's what it is really all
about, isn't it .... eh, Pete?

Why is there debate on this one? USC tried to end the game, UCLA said no, we're still playing. USC followed the lead, just did it better. UCLA is drawing attention on this one play, rather than facing up to the fact that they were dominated for the other 59 minutes.

I remember just two short weeks ago when Stanford "ran up the score" and there you had Pete Carroll boo hooing all week long about Jim Harbaugh. I also remember Pete saying that USC never does that, even though for years they have been running up the score on EVERY team that they can. So which is it Pete, do you run up the score or not? I bet your answer is USC can run up the score but other teams can't. So enjoy the win now Pete, because your reign will be coming to a crashing end very soon.

Pete Carroll is a hypocrite. A huge hypocrite. He asked what Jim Harbough's problem was when Stanford ran up the score. Running up the score in the 4th is what Carroll is known for. What a joke.

Different situation buddy.... Pete Carrol had his team take a knee in order to avoid running up the score. Unfortunately, Coach Neuheisel decided to call time outs with two minutes left. No Class at all. I Love UCLA, but their coach made us look like fools. Thanks for nothing Mr. Neuheisel..

Exactly, UCLA 4 LIFE, you hit the nail on the head. In the Stanford game, Pete wasn't taking timeouts to attempt a comeback. The way USC's season has been going, the Bruins had a legitimate chance of scoring twice in the waning minutes to tie it up. PC called for the victory formation and told Barkley to take a knee a few times to run out the clock. CRN called a time-out, making it known that he had no intention of giving up, and I wouldn't expect anything less in such a rivalry. Pete had no choice but to run plays (remember, he's already facing 2nd & 11 now) and told Barkley to take a shot downfield or throw it away. As CRN said, it was UCLA's job to cover DW and tackle him. Overall, a sloppy game, but I'm happy with the results. UCLA's defense is no joke, and their offense showed some signs of things to come over the next few years. I imagine this game will be even more competitive next year, as both of our QBs get older and better.

Fight On means fight on!!!!! if UCLA wanted the game to end they should have let the clock run out NOT call a time out....what if the pass had been intercepted- the way the two offenses played- and returend for a TD....would Bruin fans have simply said we should have let the clock run out! C'Mon you have next year that's why it's called a rivalry!

Here we go. The USC haters have ammo. Doesn't matter if it makes sense or not. At least UCLA 4 LIFE has a clue. How is Stanford and Harbaugh going for two to try and hang 50 on USC comparable to Pete REACTING to something Neuheisel started first by calling timeout? If you want to be a USC hater fine, but don't be an idiot.
And I keep hearing USC has always run up the score.
Really? When? Oh, you can't give any examples.
Exactly.

Lets stop crying. The game is over. SC won. End of story. And as far as the Stanford game went, Pete said "You do what you have to do" in response to Stanford running up the score. In reposnse to Pete being heartless and classless, here you go http://espn.go.com/video/clip... . FIGHT ON!!!
