It certainly appears this Bruin team is just barely a 1/2 notch higher than the hapless
Washington teams. The question must be posed is Neuweasel going to do any better
than Karl.I really have my doubts, but for certain he is a much better spinmaster. It
almost seems a certainty that the balance of Pac-!0 football power is gradually moving
its way Northward. I have never seen so many quality football committments ingratriate
themselves to OSU this early. For certain barring injury the Beavers will have another
Heisman adorning their hallowed halls. That Quizz Rodgers is really something special
ala Archie Griffin whom was another "OSU" graduate.

Neu is a lawyer and Archie Griffin went to Ohio State Uni. RN reminds me of a lawyer giving his closing argument to the jury, when he takes mic and talks to crowd. I really think he is betting line on the games and is behind in his payments to bookie?

Coach RN is forced to work with the recruits/players that were given to him by the "Other" Coach! I find it unfair to make such harsh judgements on this group of coaches... this or next season.

He seems to be doing a good job of recruiting and has a ton of talent coming in next year.If we are in this same situation in 2 years than we can officially call him a bust, but until then it's not fair to make such statements.

I believe even the chosen one across town needed a few years to build a dominate team!

Either way I'll always root for our 2 So.Cal teams, over any other PAC 10 team. I miss the true rivalry between the two and hope UCLA can regain it's swagger... the 2 schools have always been the class of the PAC 10 and we need to bring back the UCLA/USC dominance!!

Not only is ucla "Not paying the blame game" - they are not even "paying the football game".

Neweasle, walker and chow are only "geniuses" when they coach the best players in the country and cannot improve mediocre players. Heck even Dull-rell had a 6-6 record lat year with basically the same crew that neweasle has at 3-6 with the likelyhood to end up at 3-9 !!!

Look for walker to blow out at seasons end (12-6-2008 v. USC) for a head coaching job and chow to retire after the end of 2009 when his high subsidized payroll ends; leaving neweasle with a no-name staff and facing sanctions obtained in deperation like he did at CU and UW.

Reference to Archie Griffin who was another "OSU"
is a play on abbreviations it is well known he graduated from and played football at Ohio State
University where he won 2 Heismans. The other Heisman winner at Oregon State University was Terry
Baker. Who's college football was tommy Prothro.

The Defense would even be better if they would replace Norris

With the QB injuries and the lack of depth on the O-line, it doesn't matter who the head coach is. However, Neuheisel, Chow and Walker are making a difference with the many freshmen and sophomore players that are getting playing time. True Bruins fans know it will take a while for Neuheisel to turn things around.

Go Bruins!

Wrong, you are plain and simple and when Washington puts you in your place and gets redemption on RN SoCal will be a better place.

If Washington beats UCLA, I will be so emabarrased I will change my name to hide from you all. But it ain't going to happen, so I don't worry about it.
You are a positive thinker keep it up, and Ucla will probably win, You better hope so because if they don't it will be a biggest burn since the Dodgers beat the angels while being no hit.
