I would never have thought about the possibility of us beating SC back about three or four weeks ago. I want to believe our program is thrusting upward while "Hollywood" Carroll and his "spoiled children" and "thug" athletes may have lost their arrogant edge!

I have it 26-21 Bruins as we shut out the Trojans in the 4th quarter and rally for victory.

We didn't think we'd win in '06, either. Please, Rick, make my Thanksgiving weekend worthwhile -- which will be spent at my in-laws, who are all Trojans!

I did like that LA Times article about the UCLA and USC Hall of Famers. Too bad it didn't account for those USC players convicted of murder...

Prince is not mobile enough to beat USC defense.

Locker, Masoli and Luck all were very mobile.

If you feel strongly, you should bet. USC has not covered very well at all this year.

Rob, I am hearing Tony Jefferson might decommit from the Bruins. Florida is coming in and grabbing a lot of good California recruits.

I agree, Steve...sorry for the overzealous Bruins on here...Prince is actually alot more mobile than people think...he had a 68 yard TD against WSU the longest run by a UCLA QB probably since John Sciarra in 1973...I will have to look it up to make sure.

Notre Dame fans take football seriously...

Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen was punched in the face by an irate fan outside a South Bend restaurant early Sunday morning and has a swollen eye, a person briefed on the incident said on Monday.

That person said Clausen was "sucker-punched" by a fan as he left an establishment after having dinner with his parents.

The fan allegedly said something to Clausen and/or a female acquaintance.

A South Bend police spokesman said that no police reports were filed over the weekend involving Clausen, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The newspaper also reported that the name of the bar was CJ's and that a bartender at the establishment said that Clausen had been there with family members and other Irish upperclassmen after Notre Dame's loss to Connecticut on Senior Day.

The source told ESPN.com that the injury is not expected to keep Clausen from playing this weekend against Stanford.

I'll tell you who isn't mobile enough. S.U.C.s middle line backer(#54)isn't mobile enough. He gets shoved all over the field like he was an old woman.

Hey Rob did you know that Sciarra finished in the Top Ten in Heismann voting that year? May not have been a hell of a lot of votes, but thought I'd throw that trivia out there.

I guarantee you that Kevin Craft will be in that game even for a series. And I also think Mitch Mustain will see some action as well from the USC side.
I'm not so sure Mustain will get any snaps and Corp will be lucky to see any playing time for that matter. So much for depth at the QB position. I've never been to one of the practices, but man, those guys must REALLY stink for Pete to have such little faith in them.

Looks like UCLA's attention should have shifted to protecting the bear: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2009/11...

And, no, I cannot account for my whereabouts last night between 10p and 6a.

Looking forward to a great game!
