Carroll was justified to call a real play after Neuheisel called the time out. However, throwing the bomb was typical classless Pete Carroll. He whines about Harbaugh, but then jumps up and down after his QB throws a 48-yard touchdown pass up 14 with less than .50 seconds to play? What a hypocrite. I'm so glad to be a Bruin, regardless the final score.

Neuheisel has been a flop as coach of the Bruins. I just do not see where the Bruin alumni think this guy is capable of competing with Carroll and the Trojan football program.

An inept USC offense, an inept UCLA team made for an almost unwatchable game. I turned it off at halftime. The penalties by USC's players go on and on. PC isn't coaching or this is absolutely the dumbest bunch of so-called student athletes on the planet. AZ will kill them, and this season will get a fitting ending. Sun Bowl or bust. PC and his "staff" need to do some serious soul searching. A win, is a win, right?

What was classless was UCLA calling timeout down 14 with 50 seconds to go after USC had taken a knee on the previous play. Bruins started the fight but the Trojans (as usual) finished it.

I don't know what the Bruins players were calling the Trojans last night on the field after that play but in a few years they will be calling them what all UCLA grads call Trojans later in life........BOSS. Fight On.

Classless play by USC. Fitting end to an underacheiving program which will probably go the way of their basketball program and Carroll will sneak out of town at midnight like their basketball coach did.

The time out was justified by the trailing team. The last pass was in poor taste by a classless coach

Who wrote this article, Rick Neuheisel? How biased and petty can you get? UCLA gets credit for good defense but USC doesn't? USC lacks discipline but UCLA is excused for going 30 yards across the field after THEY got beat on a deep pass?

Prince's two touchdowns led to the first 14 points, not ALL of USC's points. Get it right. He played horribly. As did most of the offensive players for BOTH teams.

USC tried not to embarrass the Bruins by taking a knee and ending the game, Neuheisel decided to keep playing and then forgot to tell his secondary about his plan apparently. He kept calling timeouts even with less than 20 seconds on the clock and his team down three touchdowns...who is classless again? The game is over, you lost this time...let it go already.

Are you talking about the last pass the Bruins threw to end the game? He should be glad no one got hurt...all that emotion from the rivalry and the "touchdown pass"...why risk a larger incident? You lost. Get off the field.

Why do you even cover USC football? In all the years you have covered them, all you do is hate on the program. You must be the 98 pound weakling that dirt kicked on his face by a former Trojan. What happened they wouldn't let you hangout with the cool kids? You are a hack that should be writing opinion columns instead of reporting on games. Now I know why you are incognito at all of the Trojan practices. You would be told this in person. I also now know the reason you get most of your "inside information" off the USC message boards. Man you are terrible.

What's the big deal? Game was over with one more knee. UCLA called a time out indicating that they intended to continue competing, so on the next play USC continued competing as well. So, what's the big deal?

All the UCLA fans I've talked to and heard from are just whining about that last touchdown. If there's time still on the clock you'd better be ready to compete.

Maybe UCLA should think about changing their name from the Bruins to the Cubs. Why? Because they always get to say "Wait until next year!".

Scoreboard.

Where is RU Serious and his fearless prediction? Face it loser, USC owns the city of Los Angeles and UCLA's football program has become a glorified J.C. program.

You mean they don't mind if they lose, just don't want to lose by three touchdowns instead of two?
If they had bet on the game and the pointspread was 15 points instead of 13, I could see their chagrin, but it didn't even affect the winning or losing on a sports bet.
The reason why USC wins most years is they score more points. Maybe UCLA should try that sometime and see if it works for them.

Geez, it's a GAME!!! And from what I can read, UCLA didn't have a chance to win this game in 48 seconds anyways...geez! Lighten up folks, it's just a game! You win or you lose...it's simple really!!!
