As for Flacco, or is it now spelled Fluc-up, I hope the hype around him is finished. He's no better than Boller was in his first year right now. His rollout passes are pure bonehead. Did you watch the game? The Ravens held the ball for 34:28 to the Titans 25:32. Say what you want but the Ravens were winning the game with 5 minutes left and the Titans holding the ball at their own 20. It wasn't about being tired. It was about being outplayed. And if you can't see the difference between Boller and Flacco both on and off the field, then you are aren't watching.

Love Stover, we have a Super Bowl partly because of him.But we HAVE TO MAKE kicks between 45-50 yds! We don't score much still & it's too damn important. That range comes up alot & we need every pt. with this schedule.

one thing i'm not clear on is if the titans were guilty of a false start on the play that led to the "roughing" call, then why wasn't the play whistled dead in the first place? suggs never should have been near collins in the first place. and the rules need to provide wiggle room when you have a defensive player going for the qbs arm while its in motion, especially considering that suggs arm was blocked onto collins helmet by the offensive lineman. it was a horrendous call.

The personal foul call on Suggs is a direct result of many years of idiotic, infantile behavior on the part of the Ravens defense. Yes, the officials should be unbiased and make calls that are accurate and fair. Does that mean they aren't affected as human beings when they have to see and hear this garbage week in and week out? And yes, every team in the league has their own collection of loud mouths but there's varying degrees of it and the Ravens are in the top 5 without a doubt. If Harbaugh doesn't have the balls to put an end to it by implimenting fines and threats of suspensions, then how will it ever change? I have no doubt that winning takes a back seat to all the celebrating. If their colorful antics weren't so important to these morons, why do they strut and dance around even when they're getting blown out of a game? So Suggs can moan all he wants but until we see an end to the taunting, dancing, flags being thrown into the stands, helmets being driven into the ground and overall boorish behavior, the refs will always look for the chance to screw us over. Expect several similar calls this week against the Colts as Peyton Manning lights up the secondary.

If the Ravens conserved the energy they spent talking smack for the game, they might have won. But they didn't. and then they didn't. The Ravens have some talent and made some good plays, but they are a low-class roid-raging organization with their feature players trying to play some school-yard mind games instead of focusing and acting like adults.... It wouldn't disappoint me any to see Ray Lewis and/or Derrick Mason leave the field on the little cart one weekend soon.

Just one small correction: If the 15-yard penalty hadn't been called, the Titans would have had 3rd and 15, not 4th and punting. I'm not saying they would have converted, but given how Collins played that drive it's a definite possibility.

if the ravens would show more control and stop all the penalties maybe they would stop handing games away and the other problem seems to be they still cant score you dont win with field goals alone stop blaming everyone else the whole team lost this one

This defense has been in an almost imperceptible decline over the past few years. In 2006, the defense ALWAYS came up big despite being on the field for more than half a game. Even with some age in spots and a seriously depleted secondary, the D more than did its job to contain the Titans offense for all but one series. Still dominant, but not the game-changer it has been in the past.
The offense is improving, but how far can one expect it to go with a rookie QB, the youngest O-Line in football, no true #1 NFL receiver, and without the crutch of Heap in the clutch? This year is all about developing the franchise QB and implementing a new offense.
I place the blame with special teams. Stover's leg is done. He no longer can be relied on for clutch long-range field goals, and his weak kickoffs are now a real liability. This has been the biggest dropoff when compared with past successful Ravens teams, and needs to be fixed now if we are to even pretend at having a shot at the playoffs.

Raven fans should not be crying about the teams play, remember the low expectations placed on this team at the beginning of the year, i myself, despite the losses am pleasantly surprised at the play of a rookie quarterback, an old defense, average receivers, inexperienced offensive line, rookie coach, oft-injured tight end, out of shape runningback i think 2 and 2 is a good record at this team and i look for this team to improve as the year goes on.

I can assure all you cry'n Ravens fans that a single Ref call did NOT lose the game for you. The Ref didnt give the Titans 7 points...they went down the field and took it from the tired and aging Ravens. The Ravens had chances to stop the Titans from scoring and they had a chance at the end to go get a score. The tired Ravens couldnt do either. It could have been much worse for the Ravens.
