The steelers would be stupid not to take LT. The Chargers dropped him like he couldn't help them anymore. Parker lost a lot more steps than LT and is never going to be an LT. The running game would come back in Pittsburgh with Mendenhall and LT. But they need to get Isaac Redman up to curl up under LT's massive wings. Either way, Pittsburgh is still winning Superbowl XLV. Yeah, I said it.

i really don't see the advantage of an old LT over an old Parker. the problem isn't solved. they need a young bruiser in there to crash into the D line while mendenhall is taking a breather on the sidelines...oh and unless anyone has forgetten...they need a fullback leading the way. POUND THE ROCK!!!

LET'S GO BLACK AND GOLD!!!

Stupid might be a strong word, but LT can teach a lot better than Parker can. He didn't soak in enough from the bus to pass it on. Issac Redmon is ready to be the short yardage/third down back they need him to be. LT has always been humble with that 'burgh style chip on his shoulder. I know he would do the city proud.

I think LT would probably pass on the Steelers, if they offered, because he would want to be "The Guy" and not play spot duty behind Mendy, IMO.
He was always pouting on the sidelines whenever Sproles was on the field.

Steelers dont need this washed up loser. Save this garbage for the Pats who scoop up poop like this (see Fred Taylor)

I highly doubt the Steelers would have any interest in Tomlinson, he may have a decent year or two left in him, but why bother. If we are going to keep an older RB to back up Mendenhall, I'd rather us just keep Parker.

Tomlinson will still want to be 'the guy,' and the Steelers already have 'the guy' for now and the future in Mendenhall, and Moore is already the 3rd down back, a spot he will have no matter who the no. 2 RB is.

chester taylor is on the market too. imo he is a better back than LT. he's been kept pretty fresh backing up AP. he can totally be an every down back.

Taylor would be my choice. Always liked him and thought he could of been the feature back for any team.

i can't see the vikes letting him go. i guess they will get a new 3rd down back. i like taylor because he doesn't have a ton of mileage on him due to always being a backup. he would be a great addition to the running game.

I usually stay pretty quiet with my opinion...but this is rediculously funny...I don't believe there is one single player in all of football I would trade Troy evenly too...He's the best at his position in the nfl today, possibly all-time.
Anyways-I gotta good laugh (hahahaha):|

We already have a back in the exact same mold in Mendenhall, so brining in LT probably wouldn't do us much good. Now, we can land a speedster like CJ Spiller or Jahvid Best in the draft, or a bruising short yardage back like Gerherdt or Ben Tate...that I could agree with.

There's NEVER been a half decent CB since my fav player of all time MR WOODSON, we NEED CBs, sorry Ike! But Kevin Mawea would be a good faneca replacement since everyone poured out liquor, said a prayer, and cussed out the team when he went to the jets. I'm over LT since the combine started and the draft aproaches. My own made of steel blog will start soon but bring Kevin to Pittsburgh and see how rashard leaks out for big yards inside, then... Hello play action to mr 86 inside. Man, week one can't come fast enough!!
