Haynesworth says contract doesn't make him 'slave'

Brad Childress referred to Vincent Jackson as "Their Property" when asked if the Vikings were pursuing him, he never referred to Brett Farve as Viking property this last preseason when he was under contract and not even showing up to work. Childress did express his displeasure when Adrian Peterson missed 2 days of training camp. It seems that someone needs to correct a perception that certain players are property.

There "is" no perception that certain players are property of teams in the league and that is not the case with Haynesworth or the Vikings.

The players are under the employment of the teams they play for and are being paid (well) for their services. They are "free" to leave that team when their contract expires.

This Bozo is not a slave to the NFL, the owners or the contract he signed. However he IS a slave. A slave to his own stupidty and lack of common sense. That will never change....
