i just hope there is no walkout by deadline thursday! i hope everything works out nicely or at least hope they come down to terms that works good enough for both sides. it's bad enough going through the offseason of the nfl. can you imagine a year without? i cans say this, if there's a walk out, i'm sure going to miss all the our rivals! life without nfl? I'M LOST!

H JACKSON; dealing with a lockout if it happens." i think anytime any player misses when you have a new headcoach and assistant coaches, it can be tough, but again, everything is going to play itself out.. however any of this goes it's going to go, and WE'RE GOING TO BE READY!
my biggest goal is making sure the next step for our team is in place, which is getting ready for our offseason program and if somebody tells us we can't then we can't and we can go to plan B.

I'm just getting extremely fed up with the whole situation. Owners want to make more money. Players want paydays prior to proving themselves. What happened to it being an honor and priveledge to play in the NFL? There a lot of college players that don't make NFL teams every year that would love to play in the NFL even at a low price...much lower than what a lot of first and second rounders demand. AND whoever said preseason is meaningless is high as a kite...That is where you get your look at rookies and new players in game like situations so you can decide if they're worth keeping or cutting.

If we lose our season to a lockout, I'll just watch Nascar longer.

(LOL) hey tex, i'm with you on that. i might have to watch nascar as well! her's what t branch says, "this is crazy, i might be unemployed in a couple of days, wonder how i;d do as a used car sale's man"
a lock out can affect everyone! they may be talking about going back to 09 where they didn't have a union or something like that. i wish i knew more about this stuff. all i know is owners players coaches fans all want their nfl. there are many believers that there won't be a lock out.

This is what has me confused because they are talking about extending the deadline without actually locking out. It sounds to me that they don't want to lockout because that would put the season in jepordy and would they would end up losing money, but the option is still on the table. If they extend the deadline without locking out then end up locking out anyways, I'll really be disappointed. If they decide later tonight to lockout I won't be as disappointed becasue I've been expecting it for a while. By extending the deadline, it tells me that there is a deal on the table, they just need a little more time to finalize it and it should all be good.

yeah, some say the beggining of july, some say mid july. i do hope they end the lockout in a few days and continue with their talks just so that the players get in shape for the season. all that just means that they will come to an agreement later. there would be very small chance that they would lock out again. if they are supposedly 80 to 85% through talks, can finish the rest and they can smooth out the wrinkles later. then again? wouldn't it be nice if they waited and got everything done in one shot? "if" they get it done!
