Final observations of the Redskins ' 19-14 loss to Detroit: * Jim Zorn's best game-plan decision was committing to the pass in general and in particular on the Redskins ' opening drive, which started at the Washington 24-yard line and ended at the Detroit 1. Jason Campbell dropped back on seven of the first eight snaps .

Zorn's not to blame. It's Jason Campbell who isn't a leader and never will be. Just look at this eyes and then compare them to other successful quarterbacks. He constantly throws 5 yard passes on third and 8 and doesn't have the confidence nor ability to look for that 10 yard receiver. Do you think he has ever checked-off a play at the line? Of course not because he's fearful the coaches will get mad. Todd Collins is the only one who will get the 'Skins going. Campbell's lack of leadership is affecting the entire team, since they all know they can't be competitive with him. It's time for the Skins to bite the bullet and stop trying to make Campbell something he isn't and can't be.

As this season goes along it will become obvious to even the Jason Campbell haters that we'll be losing games despite his performance, not because of it. But if we're lucky we'll be winning games with much thanks to him. Our defense is weaker in the secondary than last year and that's gonna continue to show. By the end of the year we'll be extremely lucky to be in the top ten in the league when last year we were 4th. And our O-line will continue to be incapable of creating running lanes for Portis. We're gonna have to put a great weight on Campbell's shoulders and I believe he'll respond positively. And all you haters will be saying "Where the hell did this come from?" Don't be surprised when it happens.
That's just one man's opinion, but I've noticed that my reasoning is much more legitimate than those who base their arguments on the "look in his eye."
