Jets' Cotchery would welcome addition of Burress

The Jets haven't ruled out the notion of signing former Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress if he resolves his legal issues in connection with a self-shooting last Nov.

If Plaxico is playing football next year for another team, and not in jail, then the Giants made a stupid move releasing him. He made not be a very good shot, but he's a great receiver.
